How to repeat music on your iPhone
You can ask Siri to turn repeat on or off. Or you can manually turn repeat on or off in the Apple Music app.
Ask Siri to repeat music
You can easily turn repeat on or off by asking Siri. Just say something like:
- “Hey Siri, repeat this album.”
- “Hey Siri, repeat this playlist.”
- “Hey Siri, repeat this song.”
- “Hey Siri, turn off repeat.”

How to repeat an album or playlist
- Open the Apple Music app.
- Play an album or playlist.
- Tap the song that’s playing at the bottom of the screen.
- In the screen that appears, tap the Playing Next button
in the lower-right corner.
- At the top of the Playing Next screen, tap the Repeat button
until it changes to Repeat All. When the Repeat button is highlighted, Repeat All is turned on.

- At the top of the Playing Next screen, tap Repeat One or Repeat All until it changes to Repeat Off. When the Repeat button isn’t highlighted, repeat is turned off.
- Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
- If you’re playing music in your Autoplay queue, the Repeat button disappears. You can’t repeat songs in your Autoplay queue. If you’re playing music on repeat, then only that music will play. You won’t see your Autoplay queue until you turn off repeat. Learn more about Autoplay.
