Support for Echo Wall Clock
Get help using and troubleshooting common issues with Echo Wall Clock.
Getting Started:
Download the Alexa App
Download and install the Alexa app from your mobile device app store. Add the Alexa widget for easy home screen access.
- Open the app store on your mobile device.
- Search for Amazon Alexa app.
- Select Install.
- Select Open and sign in with your Amazon Account.
- Install Alexa widgets (optional).
Set Up Your Echo Wall Clock
Pair Echo Wall Clock with a single compatible device. Say, “Set up my Echo Wall Clock.”
Important: To avoid damage, don’t push or move the clock hands.
- Insert four AA batteries into your Echo Wall Clock.
- On your compatible Echo device, say, “Set up my Echo Wall Clock.”
- Put your Echo Wall Clock in pairing mode. Press and hold the blue pairing button on the back of device for up to 10 seconds. The status LED on the front pulses orange.
- When the status LED turns blue, the device is paired and the time sync begins.
- The light pulses blue as your clock syncs with your compatible Echo device.
- The hands start and stop several times during this process.
- Once the time is set, the status LED turns off.
Pairing takes up to 10 minutes to complete. - Install your clock with the mounting hardware included in the box.
Note: If setting up your Echo Wall Clock with your voice does not work, make sure the Echo Wall Clock is in pairing mode and try the following:
- For devices without a screen: In the Alexa App, select Devices > Echo & Alexa > Choose the Echo device you want to pair > Bluetooth Devices > Pair a New Device > Echo Wall Clock.
- For devices with a screen: On your device, select Settings > Bluetooth.

What Do the Echo Wall Clock LED Colors Mean?
The status LED is how your device communicates its status.
Pulsing Orange
Echo Wall Clock is in pair mode.
Solid Blue for Three Seconds
You paired your Echo Wall Clock.
Pulsing Blue
Echo Wall Clock syncs the time during setup or receives a software update.
Three Blue Blinks
Echo Wall Clock is disconnected from your Echo device.
Pulsing Blue Followed by Solid Green
The blue pairing button was pressed five times, and Echo Wall Clock was reset. Say, “Set up my Echo Wall Clock.”
Pulsing Perimeter LEDs
Your paired Echo device has a timer or alarm sounding.
Yellow
You have a new notification on the paired Echo device.
Single Red Blink
Echo Wall Clock has a low battery.
Note: After changing the batteries, it takes up to 10 minutes for the time to sync.
Echo Wall Clock Time is Incorrect
What to do if the Echo Wall Clock is displaying the wrong time.
- Check the time on the paired Echo device.
- Check the pairing of your device.
- Make sure that the hands of the clock are correctly attached.Note: This does not apply to Echo Wall Clock Mickey Mouse Edition.
- If the hands have detached, factory reset your clock.Note: This does not apply to Echo Wall Clock Mickey Mouse Edition.
Timers Aren’t Displaying on Echo Wall Clock
Steps to take if your timers aren’t displaying on your Echo Wall Clock.
- Check the Internet connection on your paired device. Your Echo Wall Clock flashes blue when it is disconnected.
- Restart your Echo device. Unplug the power adapter from the wall outlet, and plug it back in.
- If the batteries are low, your Echo Wall Clock flashes a single red blink.
My Echo Wall Clock Hands are Detached
If the hands of the Echo Wall Clock have detached, factory reset your device (This does not apply to Echo Wall Clock Mickey Mouse Edition).
My Echo Wall Clock Hands are Detached
- Open the Alexa app

- Open Devices
.
- Navigate to find your Echo device, then select Bluetooth Devices.
- Select the icon next to your Echo Wall Clock, and then select Forget Device.
- Go back to the device settings page.
- Under Connected Devices, select Echo Wall Clock and then Unpair.
- Press the pairing button on your Echo Wall Clock five times to reset the device.The center post rotates to the 12:00 position, and the status light pulses blue.
- If the hands aren’t at the 12:00 position:
- Carefully lift the hands from their posts.
- Align the notches on the inside of the clock hands with their posts, so that they are at the 12:00 position.
- Push the clock hands back onto their posts. The shorter “hour” hand goes first.
When complete, the status light turns solid green.
- Open the Alexa app
Reset Your Echo Wall Clock
If your clock is unresponsive, or the hands have detached, factory reset it.

- Open the Alexa app

- Open Devices
.
- Navigate to your Echo device and select Bluetooth Devices.
- Select the icon next to your Echo Wall Clock and select Forget Device.
- Go back to the device settings page.
- Under Connected Devices, select Echo Wall Clock and then Unpair.
- On your Echo Wall Clock, press the pairing button five times to reset the device. The center post rotates to the 12:00 position, and the status light pulses blue.When the reset is complete, the status light turns solid green.
- If the light doesn’t turn solid green, and the hands aren’t at the 12:00 position:
- Carefully lift the hands from their posts.
- Align the notches on the inside of the clock hands with their posts, so that they are at the 12:00 position.
- Push the clock hands back onto their posts. The shorter “hour” hand goes first.
When the reset is complete, the status light turns solid green. - Set up the Echo Wall Clock again.

- Say, “Go to settings,” or swipe down from the top of the screen and select Settings.
- Select Bluetooth.
