START USING YOUR DEVICE
POWER ON/OFF
Press and hold the Power Button to turn on or off. When it is turned on, the LED will blink and attempt to pair with the device.
Once connected, the LED will stops blinking and remain on continuously.
PAIRING WITH A BLUETOOTH DEVICE
* Please refer to 9p for Bluetooth connection method for each device
◼ INITIAL CONNECTION
- Turn on the power, the LED will blink and attempt to pair with the device.
- Activate bluetooth function of the device you want to connect.
- Find ‘Air Surfer Patch’ and connect.
◼ MULTIPLE CONNECTION
- Turn off the Bluetooth of currently connected device A and disconnect it.
- Activate bluetooth function of the device B and connect.
- In the same way shown above, you can register other devices you want.
◼ INITIALIZE PAIRING INFORMATION
Press and hold the Power Button and OS Button at the same time when the device power is off.
All device pairing information will be deleted, and the LED will blink to attempt a new connection.
AUTOMATIC POWER SAVING
If there is no button click or touch input more than 5 min., power saving function will be activated automatically.
Click any button to put it back into active status. Time setting to power saving can be adjusted using the Air Surfer app.

When the battery is low, the LED indicator turns red and blinks. Connect the charging cable (USB Type-C). The red charging indicator will turn on. Charge the device until the indicator changes to green. The device can be used while charging, and it will continue to charge even if turned off. To turn on the device while charging, disconnect the charging cable and press and hold the power button.

Direction of cursor movement and functions of touchpad is pre-set to operate based on attached-to-smartphone mode.
When used detached, cursor movement direction in swiping as well as functions of left and right keys of the touchpad is possible to horizontal switched just by double clicking the “Left-Right Switching Button”.
* The horizontal switching function is applicable only for smartphones

The operation of some functions may differ depending on the applied OS. To ensure normal use, double-click the OS Button to change the OS of the Air Surfer to the same OS as the currently connected device. You can check currently applied OS with the OS Indicator. There are three types of OS, and they change sequentially when you double-click the OS button. The three default settings can be changed in the app to your preferred OS.

Air Surfer has a PT mode that can be used during presentations, and this function can only be utilized in MS PowerPoint slideshow. When connected in normal mode(), the PT mode (
) button is activated only in Windows or macOS environments, and can be switched by clicking.If you end the slideshow by viewing a black screen with the message “The slideshow has ended,” the function may not work properly. In these situations, restarting PT mode after it has been terminated will help it to operate correctly.

◼ Laser Pointer(PowerPoint – Slideshow)

PT mode includes a laser pointer feature that can only be used in MS PowerPoint slideshow. Press and hold the laser button to turn the laser pointer on or off. The current mouse pointer will switch to a laser pointer, and pressing and holding it again will return it to the mouse pointer.
BUTTON – PT MODE
Exclusive to MS PowerPoint, horizontal scrolling touch functionality in the lower area does not work in PT mode (used for underlining/highlighting when active).

BLUETOOTH PAIRING
PAIR TO A WINDOWS DEVICE(FOR WINDOWS 11)
- Turn on your Air Surfer referring to ‘POWER ON/OFF’ information.
- Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices or select Bluetooth > Bluetooth & devices.
- Use the toggle to turn Bluetooth to ON so that your Windows device can discover other Bluetooth devices. And select Add device.
- In the Add a device screen, select Bluetooth, and then wait for ‘Air Surfer Patch’’ to appear on the list of devices.
When appears in the list, select it. - Wait until the PC is shown as ‘Paired” before exiting the screen
PAIR TO AMAC DEVIC
- Turn on your Air Surfer referring to ‘POWER ON/OFF” information.
- Select Menu > System Preferences > Bluetooth.
- Use the toggle to turn Bluetooth to ON so that your Mac device can discover other Bluetooth devices.
And then wait for ‘Air Surfer Patch’ to appear on the list of devices. When the Air Surfer appears in the list,select it and wait until is PC shown as ‘Paired’ before exiting the screen.
PAIR TO AN ANDROID DEVICE
- Turn on your Air Surfer referring to ‘POWER ON/OFF’ information.
- Select Setting > Connections > Bluetooth.
- Use the toggle to turn Bluetooth to ON so that your Android device can discover other Bluetooth devices.
And then wait for ‘Air Surfer Patch’ to appear on the list of devices. When the Air Surfer appears in the list, select it and wait until the phone as ‘Paired’ before exiting the screen.
PAIR TO AN IPHONE/IPAD DEVIC
- Mouse Pointer
If you do not make this setting, the cursor will not be visible on the screen. Please use after setting.
1 Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch.2 Use the toggle to turn AssistiveTouch to ON so that the button appears on your screen.
3 Back to the Settings, Select Bluetooth. Use the toggle to turn Bluetooth to ON so that your iphone device can discover other Bluetooth devices. And then wait for ‘Air Surfer Patch’ to appear on the list of devices.
When the Air Surfer appears in the list, select it and wait until the phone shown as ‘Paired’ before exiting the screen. - Scroll direction on iPhone/iPad
If you use it without this setting, it will be adapted to touch, so the contents on the screen move in the same direction as your finger. (‘Trackpad & Mouse’ appear only when connected.)
1 Back to the Settings > General > Trackpad & Mouse and Use the toggle to turn Natural Scrolling to OFF.
CAUTIONS
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING A product that has a built-in battery may cause accidents such as fire or explosion, product damage,or personal injury.
- Be careful not to shock or damage the product.
- Please use a charger that has been certified.
- Do not insert or drop any metallic particles, flammable items, or foreign substances into the charger connection.
- If a smoke or burning smell occurs, please immediately stop using it and contact the person in charge Of A/S (after-sales service).
- Be careful not to let children or pets bitten the product.
- If the temperature is either low or high, the product may be damaged, or the battery life may be shortened.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
- Be careful not to touch with water or contaminate with dust.
- Service support is unavailable for self-repair or arbitrary disassembly.
- A fee may be charged in the event of damage caused by impact, even during the warranty period.
- If normal pairing does not work, please turn off the power, then turn it back on, and try again.
It may fail due to disparities in wireless device characteristics and Bluetooth versions. - The Bluetooth wireless standard can be used within a distance of up to 10m. However, interference may occur due to obstacles, devices using the same frequency band, or Wi-Fi signals, which can cause disconnection.
- The usage time of this product may vary depending on the environmental conditions in which it is used.
- Maintain the proper temperature with products including batteries. The battery life may be shortened if it is stored or used at a temperature higher or lower than the appropriate temperature.

In accordance with the consumer policy, BLD guarantees following conditions.
In-warranty service :
- The product warranty period is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
- Repair service will be provided in case the product malfunctions during proper use within the warranty period.
If repair is impossible, it will be exchanged with the same new product.
Out-of-warranty service :
- Out of warranty period
- In warranty period
- Failure or damage caused by improper use or physical pressure (e.g. movement, fall, shock, excessive use, etc.) of the consumer.
- Failure or damage caused by natural disaster (e.g. fire, gas, storm, flood, earthquake, lightning, etc.).
- Damage to serial number that the warranty period cannot be confirmed.
- The warranty does not cover repair of any failure or damage caused by unauthorized modification or alteration (e.g. disassemble, repair, etc.).
