Product Usage Instructions
System Overview
The LEF-LD system is designed for long-distance communication
and elevator applications. It can operate at greater distances and
supports both surface and flush mount sub stations. The system is
compatible with LEF, LAF-C/CA, or LDF masters modified for Long
Distance.
Wiring Diagrams
Method A – 3 Conductors
Master to each sub station: IE-JA-LD: 1 2 3 LEF-10-LD: 1 2 ~ 10
PS-12C: E + E/- jumper attached on master IF-DA-LD: 1 2
Method B – 2 Conductors with Power
Master to each sub station with power: IE-JA-LD: 1 2 LEF-10-LD:
1 2 ~ 10 IF-DA-LD: 1 2 -* PS-12C: + Negatives of remote + 12V DC *
Negatives of remote power supplies must be tied together.

– INSTRUCTIONS –
The LEF-LD system is designed with the capability to operate at greater distances and for use in elevators. The sub stations are available in either surface or flush mount styles. Any LEF, LAF-C/CA, or LDF master can be modified for Long Distance. NOTE: This is a SINGLE MASTER SYSTEM ONLY.
