2. Safety Information

  • Read all instructions carefully before installation and use.

4. Installation

4.1 Door Compatibility

The XSDTS Smart Digital Deadbolt Lock is suitable for a wide range of door types, including:

It is designed for doors with a thickness between 30mm and 60mm.

4.2 Pre-Installation Measurements

Before purchasing and installing, it is crucial to measure your door and existing mortise lock to ensure compatibility. Please provide the following data:

  1. Measure the thickness of the door frame.
  2. Measure the length of the guide piece of your old mortise lock.
  3. Measure the width of the guide piece of your old mortise lock.
  4. Measure the distance from the door edge to the handle center.
  5. Measure the screw hole distance of the rear panel.

4.3 Power Supply Options

The lock supports two power supply methods:

  1. 4 PCS AA 1.5V Batteries: Provides long battery life. (Batteries are not contained in the package).
  2. Input DC 12V: For continuous power supply.

4.4 Wiring for Extra Exit Button

The lock supports wiring for an extra exit button, providing a convenient way to unlock from the inside. The exit button is not included in the package.

  • Fingerprint Unlock: The bank security biometric fingerprint recognition system provides accurate and secure fingerprint recognition. Supports 100 groups of fingerprints with a 0.3s recognition speed and 99.9% recognition rate.
  • Passcode Unlock: Enter your personalized passcode on the keypad.
  • Temporary Password: Generate temporary passwords for guests or service providers via the Smart App.
  • IC Card Unlock: Use a registered IC card to unlock the door.
  • Mechanical Key Unlock: For emergency situations or traditional access, use the provided mechanical key.
  • Bluetooth Unlocking: Unlock the door via Bluetooth connection through the Smart App.
  • Remote Unlocking (Optional Gateway): With an optional gateway (requires separate purchase), you can unlock the door remotely from anywhere via the Smart App.
  • Remote Control (Optional): An optional remote control unit can be used within signal reception range to open the lock.

5.2 Smart App Control

The lock can be managed using the Smart App (e.g., Tuya Smart or Smart Life). Through the app, you can:

  • Add and manage fingerprints, passcodes, and IC cards.
  • Generate temporary passwords.
  • Monitor access logs and unlock history.
  • Receive low battery alerts.
  • Remotely unlock the door (with optional gateway).
  • Adjust lock settings.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Battery Replacement

The lock is powered by 4x AA 1.5V batteries. When the battery level is low, the lock will issue a low battery alarm. Replace all four batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. In case of a dead battery, you can use the mechanical key or connect a USB power bank to the emergency power supply port for temporary power.

6.2 Cleaning

Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the finish and electronic components.

6.3 Waterproof and Temperature Resistance

The lock is IP66 rated for waterproofing and designed to withstand high temperatures, making it suitable for outdoor use. However, prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions should be avoided where possible to maximize lifespan.

7. Troubleshooting
