Safety Information

• Do not allow children under 6 years of age on the top bunk.
• Use only mattresses that comply with the recommended dimensions and thickness to ensure proper guardrail height.
• Do not attach or hang items on any part of the bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed; for example, but not limited to, hooks, belts, or jump ropes.
• This bunk bed is designed to accommodate up to 551 lbs per layer. Do not exceed this weight limit.

Setup and Assembly

Assembly requires at least two adults. Clear a spacious area for assembly and keep all hardware out of reach of small children.

Preparation:

Assembly Steps:

1. Assemble the Lower Bed Frame: Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard of the lower bed using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are snug but do not fully tighten until the frame is complete.
2. Install Lower Bed Slats: Place the wood slats across the lower bed frame, securing them with screws as indicated in the diagram. Ensure even spacing for optimal mattress support.
3. Assemble the Upper Bed Frame: Repeat step 1 for the upper bed frame.
4. Install Upper Bed Slats: Repeat step 2 for the upper bed frame.
5. Attach Guardrails: Secure the guardrails to the upper bed frame as per the instructions, ensuring they are firmly attached for safety.
6. Attach Ladder: Mount the ladder to the bunk bed frame, ensuring it is stable and securely fastened.
7. Integrate Charging Station: Locate the designated area on the guardrail for the USB/Type-C charging module. Install the module and route the 5.2-foot power cord to a suitable power outlet.
8. Install LED Lights: Affix the LED light strip to your desired location on the bed frame. Connect the LED strip to its power source and ensure the remote control is functional.
9. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, go back and fully tighten all screws and bolts. Do not overtighten.
10. Placement: Position the assembled bunk bed against a wall to prevent accidental movement.

Convertible Design (Bunk Bed to Two Twin Beds):

This bunk bed can be separated into two individual twin beds. To convert:

1. Carefully remove the ladder and guardrails.
2. Disassemble the connecting hardware that joins the upper and lower bunks.
3. Separate the two bed frames.
4. If necessary, attach any additional leg supports or caps provided for individual bed use.
