The KERUI DW9 Wireless Driveway Alarm System is designed to provide reliable security and convenience for your property. Featuring a waterproof PIR motion sensor and a plug-in receiver, this system can detect human and vehicle movement, alerting you with customizable tones and volume levels. It's suitable for various applications, including driveways, garages, stores, offices, and factories.

3. Features
- Long Wireless Transmission Range: Up to 1150 feet (approx. 350 meters) in open areas, and up to 500 feet (approx. 150 meters) in real-world settings with obstructions.
- Expandable System: The alarm host can connect up to 8 PIR motion sensors across 4 defense zones.
- Human & Vehicle Detection: Advanced PIR sensor detects movement of both humans and vehicles.
- Waterproof Detector: P861 FSK sensor is waterproof (IPV4) for outdoor use.
- Adjustable Detection: Features different detection holes and covers to adjust the detection angle (110° to 10°) and distance (6 to 12 meters) to reduce false alarms.
- Multiple Modes: Supports Alarm Mode and Welcome Mode.
- Customizable Alerts: 16 optional tones and 5 adjustable volume levels (including mute).
- LED Indicators: LED lights on the host indicate activity and low battery status for each zone.

- Installation Height: 1-2m (for vehicle detection), 2-4m (for human detection)
- Detection Interval: Detects every 5 seconds after initial detection.

5. Setup Instructions
5.1. Powering the Alarm Host (Receiver)
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the host.
- Insert 3x AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Alternatively, connect the DC 5V power adapter to the host's DC 5V port.

5.2. Powering the PIR Motion Detector (Sensor)
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the sensor.
- Insert 2x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely.

5.3. Mounting the PIR Motion Detector
- Attach the mounting bracket to the back of the sensor.
- Choose a suitable location for the sensor. For vehicle detection, install at 1-2 meters height. For human detection, install at 2-4 meters height.
- Secure the bracket to a wall or surface using the provided screws and anchors.
- Adjust the sensor's angle to cover the desired detection area.

5.4. Adjusting Detection Angle and Distance
The sensor comes with two window covers to adjust its field of view and detection range:
- Detection Holes: Use different detection holes to adjust the detection angle and distance. This helps in reducing false alarms from small animals or objects.
- Dip Switch: Inside the battery compartment, there is a dip switch (labeled 6M/12M) to select the detection range.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Alarm Host Controls
- Turn On/Off: Long press the Power button (labeled with a circle and vertical line) to turn the host on or off.
- Volume Adjustment: Short press the Volume button (labeled with a speaker icon) to cycle through 5 volume levels.
- Select Tones: Short press the Tone button (labeled with a music note) to listen to the 16 available tones in sequence.
- Enquiry Low Power Status: Short press the Power button to cycle through zones 1-4 and check for low battery status in detectors.
6.2. Adding/Deleting Detectors (Pairing)
- Enter Adding State: Long press the Setting button (labeled with a gear icon). The LED light will show red, indicating the host is in the adding state for Zone 1.
- Select Zone: While in Zone 1 adding state, short press the Setting button once for Zone 2 (green LED), twice for Zone 3 (blue LED), or three times for Zone 4 (purple LED).
- Activate Detector: Activate the detector you wish to add (e.g., by triggering it).
- Confirmation:
- If the host beeps twice and the LED flashes twice, the detector is added successfully.
- If the host beeps once and the LED flashes once, the detector was already added to another zone.
- If the host beeps three times and the LED flashes three times, the memory for that zone is full.
- Exit Adding State: Short press the Setting button four times, or wait 20 seconds without operation for the host to automatically exit.
- Delete Detectors in a Zone: While in the adding state for a specific zone, long press the Setting button. After the host beeps four times and the LED flashes four times, all detectors in that zone are deleted.
- Set Zone Tone: While in the adding state for a specific zone, short press the Tone button to set the tone for that zone.
- Set Tone Cycle Times: While in the adding state for a specific zone, short press the Volume button to set the cycle times for the selected tone (1-4 times optional). The LED will flash X times to indicate the selected cycle.
Note: Each zone can add a maximum of 2 detectors.
6.3. Operating Modes
6.3.1. Alarm Mode
When a motion detector is triggered, the host will sound a loud alarm (up to 110dB) and its LED light will flash, alerting you to potential intrusion.
