4. Setup Instructions

4.1. Device Overview

4.2. Inserting a SIM Card

  1. Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the router (labeled "SIM/Reset").
  2. Gently open the SIM card tray.
  3. Insert a Nano SIM card into the tray with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned correctly.
  4. Close the SIM card tray securely.

4.3. Powering On the Router

  1. Connect the provided DC 12V/2A power adapter to the DC IN port on the router.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
  3. Press the Power ON/OFF button to turn on the router. The indicator lights will illuminate.

4.4. Initial Wi-Fi Connection

  1. Once the router is powered on, wait for the Wi-Fi indicator light to become stable.
  2. On your device (smartphone, laptop, etc.), search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  3. Select the network name (SSID) corresponding to your KuWFi router (e.g., "KuWFi_XXXX").
  4. Enter the default Wi-Fi password, usually found on a sticker on the bottom of the router.
  5. Your device should now be connected to the router's Wi-Fi network.

5.1. Indicator Lights

The router features several indicator lights on its front panel:

  • Signal Strength: Indicates the strength of the 5G/4G cellular signal.
  • 5G: Lit when connected to a 5G network.
  • WiFi: Lit when Wi-Fi is active.
  • LAN: Lit when a device is connected to the LAN port.
  • Other Indicators: May vary by model, typically indicating system status or other functions.

5.2. Connecting Devices

  • Wi-Fi Connection: Follow the steps in Section 4.4 to connect devices wirelessly.
  • LAN Connection: Use an Ethernet cable to connect a device (e.g., computer, smart TV) to the LAN port on the router.

5.3. eSIM Mode

The router supports eSIM functionality. To activate and manage eSIM, you will typically need to use a dedicated mobile application provided by your eSIM service provider or KuWFi. Refer to the app's instructions for detailed setup.

    - Double-check the IP address entered in the browser (e.g., 192.168.1.1).
    - Clear your browser's cache or try a different browser.
