Setup and Installation
The AWESAFE Car Radio is designed for plug-and-play installation. However, professional installation is recommended for optimal performance and to avoid damage.

Wiring Diagram
Refer to the following diagrams for connecting the main unit and the rear camera.

Rear Camera Connection
Follow these steps to connect the rear camera:

- The red cable (①) should be connected to the backup light's positive terminal (+).
- The black cable (②) should be connected to the backup light's negative terminal (-).
- The reversing detection cable (④, brown color) should be connected to the red cable (③) extending from the video input cable.
- Cable ⑤ does not require connection.
Initial Setup
Steering Wheel Controls (SWC)
For WiFi versions:
- Go to Settings > Car Infotainment > SWC.
- Click "Clear All" first.
- Then, click the icons on the screen. When an icon flashes, press the corresponding button on your steering wheel to match it.
- After successful learning, the icon's color will change.
For 4G versions:
- Go to Settings > General > Steering Wheel Setting.
- Press a button on the steering wheel, and simultaneously click the corresponding button on the screen to match.
- The button's color will change after matching.
Note: If your order includes a Canbus module, ensure the Canbus type is correctly set in the settings for steering wheel controls to function. Consult customer service if needed.
Boot Logo (WiFi Version)
To customize the boot logo:
- Go to Settings > Car Infotainment > Common > Boot Logo.
- Enter the password "5678".
- Choose your desired logo from the available options.
OBD2 Functionality (WiFi Version)
To enable OBD2 functionality:
- Enter the settings to move the OBD2 icon to the desktop.
- Go to Settings > Car Infotainment > About Device.
- Click the gear icon on the right (it will prompt for code "8888").
- Double-click the menu icon on the left; it will appear in the right box.
- Save the setting and restart the device.

- No Satellite Signal / Incorrect Time and Date
- After successfully searching for a satellite signal for the first time, the time and date will automatically update. Ensure your GPS antenna is properly installed and has a clear view of the sky.
- Steering Wheel Controls Not Working
- Refer to the "Steering Wheel Controls (SWC)" section under Setup and Installation. If your vehicle uses a Canbus system, ensure the correct Canbus type is selected in the settings. If issues persist, contact customer support.
- OBD2 Not Functioning (WiFi Version)
- Follow the steps in the "OBD2 Functionality (WiFi Version)" section under Setup and Installation to correctly configure the OBD2 icon and settings.
- Limited Memory for Maps
- The operating system and pre-installed applications consume a portion of the device's memory. For example, Russia maps require approximately 3GB, and Europe maps require about 7GB. Plan your map downloads accordingly.
