4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Keyboard

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keycaps and chassis.
  • For deeper cleaning, you may use the included key puller to remove keycaps and clean underneath with compressed air or a small brush.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the keyboard's finish or keycap legends.

4.2 Replacing Switches

Thanks to the hot-swappable design, replacing switches is straightforward:

  1. Disconnect the keyboard from your computer.
  2. Use the included switch puller to carefully grip the switch you wish to remove.
  3. Gently pull the switch straight up until it detaches from the PCB.
  4. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB.
  5. Press the new switch firmly into place until it clicks. Ensure the pins are not bent during insertion.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Keyboard Not Responding

  • Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and your computer.
  • Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
  • Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out system-specific issues.
  • If using a USB hub, try connecting directly to the computer.

5.2 RGB Lighting Not Working

  • Verify the keyboard is properly connected and powered.
  • Cycle through the lighting modes using the designated key combinations (refer to the full manual if available).
  • Ensure no software settings are overriding the keyboard's onboard lighting controls.

5.3 Keys Not Registering or Double-Typing

  • Remove the affected keycap using the key puller.
  • Check for any debris or obstructions under the keycap or around the switch stem.
  • If the keyboard is hot-swappable, carefully remove the switch using the switch puller and re-insert it, ensuring the pins are straight and fully seated. If the issue persists, consider replacing the switch.
