5. Initial Setup
5.1. App Download and Connection
To utilize the full AI translation and other smart functions, you must download the "SayMi" APP.
- Download the APP: Scan the QR code below or search for "SayMi" in your app store.
- Take out the earphones from the charging case to connect to your mobile phone.
- Log in to the SayMi APP.
- Within the APP, follow the prompts to connect your headphones.

Note: This software is free to use for a lifetime and does not charge any fees.
5.2. Wireless Pairing Mode
- First-time Pairing: If there is no prior pairing record, the left and right earphones will automatically pair with each other after being turned on. After successful pairing, you will hear two beeps.
- Subsequent Pairing: If the earphones have previous pairing records, they will automatically connect back to your device when turned on, and you will hear a "beep" prompt.

6. Operating Instructions
The HTC NE67 earbuds feature touch controls for various functions. Refer to Figure 8 for visual guidance on controls.
6.1. Basic Operations
- Power On/Off: Tap and hold the multi-function key for 3 seconds to power on, or 5 seconds to power off.
6.2. Phone Mode Controls
- Answer/Hang Up Call: Tap the multi-function key once (x1).
- Reject Call: Tap and hold the multi-function key for 2 seconds (2s).
6.3. Music Mode Controls
- Volume Up/Next Track (Right Earbud): Tap the right earbud twice (x2) for volume up, or three times (x3) for next track.
- Volume Down/Previous Track (Left Earbud): Tap the left earbud twice (x2) for volume down, or three times (x3) for previous track.
6.4. AI Translation Features
The earbuds support real-time bidirectional translation for multiple languages (up to 134 languages). This feature is primarily managed through the "SayMi" APP.

The translation is delivered exclusively to the user's earbuds, ensuring privacy by preventing third-party listening.

7. Indicator Light Description
The earbuds use LED indicators to communicate their status:
- Headset On: White light flashes.
- Headset Off: Red light stays on for 2 seconds, then turns off.
- Pairing Status: White light flashing.
- Connection Successful: No light.
- Headphone Charging: Red light stays on. When fully charged, the red light goes off.
- Charging Case Charging: The charging case display screen shows the battery level. When fully charged, it shows 100%.
Note: After displaying charging status for about 30 seconds, the screen will automatically turn off. Sliding can reactivate the display.

8. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your HTC NE67 earbuds, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them from dust and damage. Keep them in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
- Charging: Use the provided Type-C charging cable and a compatible power adapter. Avoid overcharging or completely draining the battery frequently.
- Water Exposure: While designed to be sweat-resistant, avoid submerging the earbuds in water. Dry them thoroughly if they get wet.
9. Troubleshooting
9.1. Clear Bluetooth Pairing History
If both earphones cannot be paired or are experiencing connection issues:
- Clear all connected devices from your mobile phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Tap the left and right earphones 5 times simultaneously. This will clear their internal pairing history.
9.2. How to Reset the Earphones
If the earphones fail to pair or reconnect to each other after clearing the history:
- Reset them by tapping both earphones five times simultaneously.
Note: Resetting the earphones will clear the Bluetooth pairing history.
