Model Distinction:

  • YL86 Drone Version: Features a remote control with a screen and includes a camera for aerial photography.
  • YL85 Drone Version: Comes with a standard remote control and does not include a camera.

  • Age Restriction: Not suitable for children under 6 years old.

Assembly and Setup

1. Battery Installation and Charging

  • Drone Battery: Insert the 3.7V 350mAh drone battery into the designated compartment. Connect the USB charging cable to the drone battery and a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). Charge for approximately 1 hour until fully charged.
  • Remote Control Battery (YL86): The YL86 remote control has a built-in 3.7V 500mAh battery. Charge it using the provided USB cable for approximately 1 hour.
  • Remote Control Battery (YL85): The YL85 remote control requires 3 AA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

2. Pairing the Drone and Remote Control

  1. Ensure both the drone and the remote control are fully charged.
  2. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
  3. Turn on the drone. The indicator lights will flash.
  4. Turn on the remote control.
  5. Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The drone's indicator lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.

  • Left Rocker: Controls throttle (up/down) and yaw (left/right rotation).
  • Right Joystick: Controls forward/backward and left/right movement.
  • Speed Adjustment: Cycles through three-speed modes (low, medium, high).
  • Headless Mode: Activates headless flight, where the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, not the drone's front.
  • One-Click Takeoff/Landing: Initiates automatic takeoff or landing.
  • 360° Roll: Performs an aerial stunt roll.
  • Emergency Stop: Immediately stops all motors.
  • Photo/Video (YL86): Short press for photo, long press for video recording.
  • Real-time Video Transmission (YL86): View live camera feed on the remote control screen.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone and remote control. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.

    • Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries.
    • Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

A: Ensure the drone and remote control batteries are fully charged. Manually pair the drone and remote control by following the steps in the "Assembly and Setup" section. If issues persist, you may need to check the motherboard voltage or contact customer service.
