This manual provides detailed instructions for the GTmedia remote control, designed for seamless operation with GTCOMBO, V7 Pro, V8 uhd, V8X, V9Prime, and X8 satellite receivers and media players. Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+ and -), and close the cover securely.

2. Bluetooth Pairing (Intelligent Voice Remote)

For models with intelligent voice control, Bluetooth pairing is required:

1. Ensure your GTmedia device is powered on.
2. Press and hold the "OK" button and the "Menu" button simultaneously on the remote control.
3. The indicator light on the remote will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions on your GTmedia device to complete the Bluetooth pairing.
5. Once successfully paired, the indicator light will go out.

Note: If pairing fails, repeat the steps. If the remote is not used for a long time, it may need to be re-paired.

3. TV Switch Key Learning Operation

This feature allows you to program the remote to control basic functions of your TV (e.g., Power, Volume).

1. Press and hold the "TV SET" button on the remote control for more than 3 seconds. The LED light will turn on, indicating it's in learning mode.
2. Point your TV's original remote control at the GTmedia remote control (infrared emitters facing each other).
3. Press the button on the GTmedia remote that you wish to program (e.g., "TV Power" button). The LED light will flash slowly.
4. Press the corresponding button on your TV's original remote control (e.g., TV Power button). The LED light on the GTmedia remote will flash quickly three times and then stay on, indicating successful learning.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for any other buttons you wish to program (e.g., TV Volume Up/Down).
6. Once all desired buttons are programmed, press the "TV SET" button again to exit learning mode. The LED light goes out.

Troubleshooting

Remote control is not responding:

TV key learning failed:

• Ensure the original TV remote has fresh batteries and is functioning correctly.
• Make sure the infrared emitters of both remotes are directly facing each other and are close (e.g., 1-3 cm apart).
• Repeat the learning steps carefully, ensuring you press and hold buttons for the correct duration.
• The LED light on the GTmedia remote should flash quickly three times to confirm successful learning. If it doesn't, try again.

Voice control is not working:

• Confirm that the remote is successfully paired via Bluetooth.
• Check the settings on your GTmedia device to ensure voice control is enabled.
• Speak clearly and directly into the remote's microphone.
