2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Package Contents
Before you begin, please ensure all items are present in the package:

2.2 Attaching the Lens to Your Camera
- Remove the rear lens cap and the camera body cap.
- Align the mounting mark on the lens with the corresponding mark on your camera body.
- Insert the lens into the camera mount and rotate it clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Attach the lens hood by aligning its indication mark with the lens hood mounting mark on the lens, then rotate until it locks.

The lens supports both Auto Focus (AF) and Manual Focus (MF). Use the focus mode switch (Part 4 in Figure 4) to select your desired mode. In AF mode, the STM stepper motor provides fast, accurate, and silent focusing, including eye/face detection capabilities for compatible cameras.

3.2 Aperture Control
The lens features an aperture adjustment ring (Part 6 in Figure 4) and a click switch (Part 8 in Figure 4). The click switch allows for stepless or stepped aperture adjustment, providing flexibility for both photography and video shooting.
