Once connected, your operating system should detect the external screens. You can configure them for various display modes:

  • Extend Mode: Each screen displays a different part of your desktop, allowing for expanded workspace.
  • Mirror Mode: All screens display the same content as your primary display.

These settings are typically found in your operating system's display settings (e.g., Display Settings on Windows, System Preferences > Displays on Mac).

4.2 100W Reverse Charging

The DCM6 supports 100W reverse charging, delivering high-speed power directly to your laptop. This feature allows you to work, stream, or game without worrying about your laptop running out of battery. Note: Reverse charging works only when the monitor is connected to an external power adapter.

4.3 Integrated Speaker

The DCM6 includes a single BOX speaker with 1W audio output, providing clear sound for your work or entertainment needs.

5. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use, fold the screens back into the central unit and store in a protective sleeve or bag to prevent scratches and damage.
  • Handling: Handle the device with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts.
  • Temperature: Operate and store the device within recommended temperature ranges to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Display:
    • Ensure all cables are securely connected to both the DCM6 and your host device.
    • Verify that your laptop's Type-C port supports display output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode). If not, use the H5-T adapter as described in Section 3.2.
    • Check your device's display settings to ensure the external screens are detected and configured correctly (e.g., extended or mirrored).
  • Power Issues:
    • If the screens are not powering on, ensure sufficient power is supplied. For connections requiring external power, use a compatible power adapter.
    • When using the H5-T adapter, ensure it is connected to an external power source if your laptop cannot provide enough power.
  • Driver Problems (with H5-T adapter):
    • If using the H5-T adapter and the screens are not working, ensure the correct drivers are installed for your operating system (Windows/Mac) as detailed in Section 3.3.
    • Restart your computer after driver installation.
  • Screen Flickering/Instability:
    • Ensure all cables are high-quality and fully inserted.
