4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Earphones and Case

Before first use, ensure both the earphones and the charging case are fully charged.

1. Place the earphones into the charging case.
2. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and a power source.
3. The indicator light on the charging case will show charging status. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off.

4.2 Wearing the Earphones

The HTC NE56 earphones feature an OWS (Open Wireless Stereo) ear clip design for a secure and comfortable fit.

1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) earphones.
2. Gently clip each earphone onto your ear, ensuring the speaker part is positioned correctly over your ear canal and the clip rests securely behind your ear.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Open the charging case. The earphones will automatically enter pairing mode (if not already paired).

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Open the charging case, or press and hold the touch area for 3-5 seconds.
• Power Off: Place the earphones back into the charging case and close the lid, or press and hold the touch area for 5 seconds.

5.2 Music Control

• Play/Pause: Single tap (x1) on either earphone.
• Volume Up: Double tap (x2) on the right earphone.
• Volume Down: Double tap (x2) on the left earphone.
• Next Track: Triple tap (x3) on the right earphone.
• Previous Track: Triple tap (x3) on the left earphone.

5.3 Call Control

• Answer/End Call: Single tap (x1) on either earphone.
• Reject Call: Press and hold (2s) on either earphone.

5.4 Voice Assistant

• Activate Siri/Voice Assistant: Press and hold (2s) on either earphone (when not on a call).

5.5 Reset Earphones

• Reset: Tap five times (x5) on both earphones simultaneously.

• Earphones not pairing: Ensure both earphones are charged. Place them back in the case, close the lid, then open it again to re-enter pairing mode. Check your device's Bluetooth settings and try reconnecting.
• Only one earphone working: Try resetting the earphones (refer to section 5.5). Ensure both earphones are properly seated in the charging case and fully charged.
• No sound: Check the volume level on your device and the earphones. Ensure the earphones are correctly paired and connected.
