3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Choosing the Correct Bracket
The EKIY navigation system comes in two main variants:
- M3: Suitable for all motorcycles, includes the main unit, a quick-release bracket, and a power cable.
- M3A: Specifically designed for BMW motorcycles with factory-fitted navigation brackets. This variant includes the main unit only, as it integrates directly with the existing BMW bracket.
3.2 Mounting the Device
The device features an aluminum alloy bracket allowing for free adjustment of the screen angle without tools. The patent-designed bracket uses a damping + bearing principle for direct angle adjustment.
3.3 Power Connection
The device requires a 12V power supply to start. Connect the red wire (ACC) to the motorcycle's accessory power and the black wire (GND) to the ground.

- Once paired, Android Auto should automatically launch on the navigation screen.
4.4 Bluetooth Headset Connection
Connect your Bluetooth headset directly to your phone for clearer and more stable audio during calls and music playback, even in complex riding environments. The navigation screen does not route audio through itself to the headset.
4.5 Screen Mirroring (Airplay/Mirror)
The device supports iPhone wireless Airplay and Android phone wireless Mirror function. This allows you to display your phone's screen directly on the navigation unit.
- On the navigation screen, select the 'Mirror' option.
- For iPhone (Airplay): Connect your iPhone to the device's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password will be displayed on the screen). Then, use your iPhone's screen mirroring function to select the device.
- For Android (Mirror): Connect your Android phone to the device's Wi-Fi network. Then, use your phone's screen mirroring/cast function to select the device.
