5. Setup Guide
5.1 Initial Power-Up
- Connect the power adapter to the alarm host's Type-C port.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- Ensure the power switch (wave switch) on the host is in the 'ON' position.
5.2 App Installation & WiFi Configuration
The alarm host supports 2.4G WiFi networks only. Ensure your WiFi is configured to 2.4G before proceeding.
- Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life APP from your smartphone's app store.
- Register or log in to your account.
- On the alarm host, navigate to the main menu and select 'WiFi configuration'.
- Choose 'One-click configuration'. The host will enter pairing mode.
