Setup
Charging the Appliance:
- Ensure the appliance is switched off.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the bottom of the clipper/trimmer.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible 5V===1A USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on a computer.
- The LED display will indicate the battery level during charging.
- A full charge takes approximately 3 hours (180 minutes).
- The V-197 provides approximately 200 minutes of working time, and the V-995 provides approximately 300 minutes on a full charge.


Attaching Guide Combs:
- Select the desired guide comb for your preferred cutting length.
- Align the guide comb with the blade and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently pull the comb away from the blade.
Operating Instructions
General Operation:
- Ensure the appliance is fully charged or connected to a power source.
- Press the power button to turn the appliance on. The LED display will show the battery percentage.
- For the V-197 clipper, use the side lever to adjust the blade length for fine-tuning without changing guide combs.
- Move the clipper/trimmer against the direction of hair growth for an even cut.
- Press the power button again to turn the appliance off.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Blades:
