3. Setup

3.2 Charging the Device
The SN-G80 is equipped with a long-lasting rechargeable lithium battery. To charge:
- Connect the included USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the device.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- The battery indicator on the display will show charging status.

4. Operating Instructions
The SN-G80 features two main buttons: a red triangle button (Power on/Measure/Switch) and a grid/slash button (Function switching/OFF).

4.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Short press the red triangle button.

4.2 Measurement Modes

4.2.1 Single Measurement
To perform a single distance measurement:
- Short press the red triangle button to turn on the laser.
- Aim the laser at the target point.
- Short press the red triangle button again to take the measurement. The distance will be displayed on the screen.

4.2.2 Continuous Measurement
For real-time distance updates and to find maximum/minimum values:
- Long press the red triangle button to activate continuous measurement mode.
- Move the device, and the screen will continuously display the actual distance, along with maximum and minimum values.
- Short press the red triangle button again to stop continuous measurement.

4.2.3 Area Measurement
To calculate the area of a surface:
- Short press the grid/slash button until the area measurement icon (a square) appears on the display.
- Measure the length by short pressing the red triangle button.
- Measure the width by short pressing the red triangle button again.
- The device will automatically calculate and display the area.

4.2.4 Volume Measurement
To calculate the volume of a space:
- Short press the grid/slash button until the volume measurement icon (a cube) appears on the display.
- Measure the length by short pressing the red triangle button.
- Measure the width by short pressing the red triangle button.
- Measure the height by short pressing the red triangle button.
- The device will automatically calculate and display the volume.

4.3 Unit Switching
To change the measurement units (inches, meters, feet):
- Short press the grid/slash button until the unit switch icon appears.
- Press the red triangle button to cycle through the available units (in, m, ft) until your desired unit is selected.

- Short press the grid/slash button until the reference model icon appears (REF).
- Press the red triangle button to toggle between the front and back reference points.

5. Maintenance

6. Troubleshooting
