5.3. Network Connection (ZigBee Gateway)
To connect your controller to a ZigBee network:
- Connect the controller to the power source correctly.
- Use your gateway's app to initiate a device search. Refer to your gateway's instructions for specific steps.
- If the gateway doesn't find the controller, try powering the controller off and on again, or perform a reset (see section 6.1).
- Once the gateway finds the controller, add it to your desired room or group within the app.
- After successful network connection, you can start controlling your LED strips.
5.4. Gateway Compatibility
The GLEDOPTO GL-C-601P controller is compatible with standard ZigBee gateways, including but not limited to:

6.2. Indicator Light Meanings
The indicator light on the controller provides visual feedback on its current mode and status:
| Indicator Color | Function/Mode |
|---|---|
| White | RGBCCT |
| Yellow | RGBW |
| Blue | RGB |
| Green | CCT |
| Red | Dimmer |
| Purple | Frequency switching |
| Light blue | Enable/disable memory function |
Note: When the Zigbee device is not paired into a network, the indicator light will blink.

6.3. Power-on Status Settings
To configure the controller to remember its last on/off state before a power failure:
- Long press the 'Opt' key for more than 5 seconds.
- The indicator light will flash light blue 3 times.
- The device will now remember its on/off state and return to it when powered on.
- To cancel this function (default behavior is lights on when powered on), repeat the operation.

6.4. Frequency Settings
The controller's frequency can be adjusted to adapt to different power supplies and reduce noise. The selectable frequencies are 600Hz, 800Hz, 1000Hz (default), 2000Hz, 4000Hz, and 8000Hz.
- Short press the 'Reset' key to cycle through the frequencies.
- The indicator will flash in purple and then resume its previous color after 2 seconds.
- The number of flashes corresponds to the frequency setting as shown in the table below.
| Frequency | Flashing times |
|---|---|
| 600Hz | 1 |
| 800Hz | 2 |
| 1000Hz | 3 |
| 2000Hz | 4 |
| 4000Hz | 5 |
| 8000Hz | 6 |

6.5. RGB+White Light Mix
The controller supports a 'Mix Mode' allowing you to blend color and white light. This enables fine-tuning across 16 million hues and a 2700K–6500K temperature range.
- When the color loop on the app moves to the edge, only the RGB light turns on.
- When the color loop moves to the middle, both the RGB light and white light turn on together.

6.6. Pairing with 2.4GHz RF Remote Control
The controller can be paired with a GLEDOPTO 2.4G RF remote control for direct control without a gateway.
- Power on the controller.
- Within 4 seconds of powering on, press any zone "On" key on the 2.4G RF Remote or touch panel.
- The controller's indicator will blink 3 times to confirm successful pairing.
Resetting the 2.4GHz RF Network
If you need to reset the 2.4GHz RF network connection:
- Method 1: Short press the Master "On" Key 5 times within 4 seconds after the device is powered on. The device will blink 3 times.
- Method 2: Short press continuously 5 times the Zone "On" key of the device being paired within 4 seconds after the device is powered on. The device will blink 3 times.
6.7. ZigBee Touch Link Pairing
Touch Link pairing allows direct control between the controller and a ZigBee remote/panel without a gateway.
- Method 1 (Button Reset): Quickly press the controller's reset button three times to enter touch link pairing mode.
- Method 2 (Re-power): Re-power an unconnected device, and it will immediately enter touch link pairing mode.
- Method 3 (Connected Devices): Connected devices will enter touch link pairing mode immediately after being connected to the network.
For successful pairing:
- The distance between the controller and the remote control or touch panel must be less than 10cm.
- Set the remote control or touch panel to enter touch link pairing mode (refer to its specific instructions).
- If the connection is successful, the remote control or touch panel will indicate success. The remote control can then control the device.
Notes on Touch Link:
- Direct TouchLink (when two devices are not added to the same ZigBee network): Each device can only be connected to one remote control.
- After the device and remote control are added to the same ZigBee network, a device can be connected to a maximum of 30 remote controls.
- For Philips Bridge and Amazon Echo Plus, the device and remote control need to be added to the same network before performing TouchLink.
6.8. Scene Memory Function (2.4GHz Remote Control)
If using a 2.4GHz RF remote control, you can save and activate scenes:
- To save a scene: Long press one of the scene buttons (S1, S2, S3, S4) on the remote control.
- To activate a scene: Short press one of the scene buttons (S1, S2, S3, S4) on the remote control.
6.9. App and Voice Control
Once connected to a compatible ZigBee gateway, the controller can be controlled via smartphone apps and voice assistants.
- App Control: Use the gateway's dedicated app (e.g., Philips Hue app, SmartThings app) to adjust colors, brightness, color temperature, and switch modes.
- Voice Control: Integrate with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant through your ZigBee gateway to control your lights with voice commands (e.g., "Alexa, turn on the living room light," "Alexa, set to purple," "Alexa, increase to 70%").

7. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GLEDOPTO LED Controller:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the controller with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Environment: Keep the device in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and strong magnetic fields.
- Inspection: Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure.
- Fuse Replacement: The controller features a user-replaceable 20A pluggable fuse. If the controller stops functioning due to an overcurrent event, replace the fuse with one of the same rating.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your controller, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Controller not responding:
- Check all power connections to ensure they are secure and the power supply is within the rated 5-24V.
- Verify that the LED strip is correctly wired to the output terminals.
- If using a 2.4G RF remote, ensure it is properly paired (see section 6.6).
- If using a ZigBee gateway, ensure the controller is successfully connected to the network (indicator light should not be blinking).
- Try resetting the controller (long press 'Reset' button for 5 seconds).
- Indicator light blinking:
- This indicates that the ZigBee device is not paired into a network. Attempt to connect it to your gateway (see section 5.3).
- Inconsistent light behavior or noise:
- Adjust the frequency settings (short press 'Reset' button) to adapt to your power supply and reduce potential noise (see section 6.4).
- Ensure the product is not in metal shielded areas or near strong magnetic fields, which can affect wireless signals.
- Controller does not remember last state after power cycle:
- Activate the power-on status memory function by long pressing the 'Opt' button for 5 seconds until the indicator flashes light blue 3 times (see section 6.3).
- Remote control not working:
- Ensure the remote is a GLEDOPTO 2.4G RF remote control, as other remotes are not compatible.
- Check if the remote's battery is functional.
- Re-pair the remote with the controller (see section 6.6).
9. User Tips
While no specific user reviews or Q&A were provided, here are some general tips for optimizing your experience:
- Optimal Placement: For best wireless performance, avoid placing the controller inside metal enclosures or directly next to large metal objects.
- Power Supply Matching: Always use a power supply that matches the voltage requirements (5-24V DC) and provides sufficient current for your LED strips.
- Testing Before Installation: It's recommended to test the controller and LED strips with a temporary power connection before final installation to ensure all components are working correctly.
- Firmware Updates: Check your ZigBee gateway's app for any available firmware updates for the GLEDOPTO controller, as these can improve performance and add new features.
