5. Operation

5.1 Unlocking Methods

The XSDTS A16 offers multiple convenient ways to unlock your door:

  • Fingerprint Unlocking: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will verify and unlock.
  • Password Unlocking: Enter your registered password on the keypad.
  • IC Card Unlocking: Present your registered IC card to the card reading area.
  • Tuya App Unlocking: Use the Tuya Smart app on your smartphone to remotely unlock the door via Bluetooth connection.
  • Remote Control Unlocking (Optional): If you have the optional remote control, press the unlock button.
  • Emergency Power Supply Unlocking: In case of battery depletion, connect a USB power bank to the emergency charging port to temporarily power the lock and unlock it.

5.2 Virtual Password Feature

To prevent others from peeping your password, the lock supports a virtual password feature. You can enter any arbitrary numbers before and after your correct password, as long as the correct password sequence is entered consecutively in the middle.
