Setup and Installation
The Baseus VD1 Pro is designed for effortless and quick installation. Follow these steps to get your dash cam ready for use:

- Prepare Mounting Surface: Clean the area on your windshield where the front dash cam will be mounted. Apply the Static Cling Film first to allow for easier repositioning and residue-free removal.
- Install Front Dash Cam: Attach the front dash cam to the electrostatic sticker on your windshield using the 3M adhesive pad. Ensure it has a clear view of the road ahead.
- Install Rear Camera: Mount the rear camera on your rear windshield. Ensure it has a clear view of the road behind.
- Connect Rear to Front: Connect the rear camera to the front dash cam using the provided 3m Rear Camera Cable via the USB-C Rear Cam Signal Transmission port on the main unit.
- Power the Dash Cam: Connect the USB-A to USB-C Cable to the dash cam's USB-C Power Input port and the Car Charger. Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Insert MicroSD Card: Ensure the included 32GB microSD card (or your own compatible card) is inserted into the MicroSD Card Slot.
- Verify Power: Once powered, the indicator light on the dash cam should turn on, indicating it is receiving power and ready for operation.
