The MACHENIKE GX30 Series Gaming Headset offers a versatile audio experience for gamers, featuring multiple connectivity options, advanced sound technology, and a comfortable design. This manual provides instructions for both the wired GX30 and wireless GX30 Pro models.

2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Package Contents

Please ensure all items are present in your package:

  • MACHENIKE GX30 Series Gaming Headset (Wired GX30 or Wireless GX30 Pro)
  • USB-C Cable (for charging and wired connection)
  • 2.4GHz Wireless Dongle (for GX30 Pro)

2.2 Charging (GX30 Pro Wireless Model)

  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the headset's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  3. The headset features fast charging, reaching 0-100% in approximately 1.5 hours.
  4. A full charge provides up to 38 hours of continuous play or 100 hours of standby time.

2.3 Connectivity Options

The GX30 Series offers four modes of connection:

  • Wired USB-C: Connect directly to your PC or compatible device using the USB-C cable.
  • Bluetooth 5.3: For wireless connection to mobile devices, laptops, or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
  • 2.4GHz Wireless: (GX30 Pro only) For low-latency wireless connection to PCs, PS4/PS5 via the 2-in-1 USB dongle.
  • 3.5mm Aux: (GX30 Pro only) For universal wired connection to devices with a 3.5mm audio jack.

2.4 PC Driver Software Installation (Recommended for PC Users)

For optimal performance, including Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound, customizable EQ profiles, and RGB lighting synchronization, download and install the dedicated PC driver software from the official MACHENIKE website. This software utilizes the CM108B sound card chip for enhanced audio customization.

2.5 Headset Adjustment

The headset features a 10-step adjustable metal headband and memory-protein ear cushions for a comfortable fit. Adjust the headband to comfortably fit your head, ensuring the earcups fully cover your ears for optimal sound isolation and comfort during extended use.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

Refer to the power button location on your specific model (GX30 or GX30 Pro) to power the headset on or off. A light indicator will typically confirm the power status.

3.2 Switching Connectivity Modes (GX30 Pro)

The GX30 Pro allows seamless switching between its four connectivity modes. Consult the headset's controls or the PC software for specific mode selection instructions.

3.3 Audio Controls

3.4 Microphone Usage

The headset is equipped with a 360° fixed boom omnidirectional microphone with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and AI echo cancellation. Position the microphone close to your mouth for clear voice capture. Use the microphone switch to mute/unmute as needed.

3.5 Dual-Device Conquest Mode (GX30 Pro)

The GX30 Pro allows simultaneous connection to two devices, such as a PC via the 2.4G dongle and a phone via Bluetooth. This enables you to game on your PC while taking calls or listening to music from your phone without interruption.

3.6 Aurora Lighting

The GX30 Pro features dynamic RGB "Faith-Ring" lighting (Aurora Purple Halo Lighting), while the GX30 Wired model features Ice Blue lighting. These lighting effects can often be customized or synchronized with gameplay via the PC driver software.

4. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Ear Cushions: The memory-protein ear cushions are designed for comfort. If they become soiled, gently wipe them with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry completely.
  • Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care (GX30 Pro): To prolong battery life, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Charge the headset regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.

5. Troubleshooting

No Sound / Low Volume:
  • Check all cable connections (wired models).
  • Ensure the headset is powered on and charged (wireless models).
  • Verify the correct audio output device is selected in your computer's sound settings.
  • Adjust the volume on the headset's controls and your device.
  • Check if the headset or device is muted.
Microphone Not Working:
  • Ensure the microphone is not muted via the inline/on-earcup control or software.
  • Check microphone input settings on your device.
  • Ensure the microphone boom is properly extended and positioned.
Wireless Connectivity Issues (GX30 Pro):
  • Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the headset is in pairing mode. Re-pair if necessary.
  • 2.4GHz Wireless: Ensure the USB dongle is securely plugged into your device. Try a different USB port. Re-pair the headset with the dongle if connection is lost.
  • Move closer to your device to reduce interference.
