3. Setup and Installation

The Hobsir Glass Ceramic Hob is designed for built-in installation. It does not come with a plug and must be hardwired by a qualified electrician.

3.1 Electrical Requirements

  • Ensure the electrical supply is adequate for the hob's power rating.

4. Operating Instructions

The hob features a user-friendly touchpad control panel.

4.1 Turning On/Off

  • Touch the power symbol to turn the hob on or off.

4.2 Selecting a Cooking Zone and Adjusting Power

  • After turning on, select the desired cooking zone by touching its corresponding control.
  • Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the power level from 1 to 9.

4.3 Timer Function

  • The timer can be set for up to 99 minutes.
  • To activate, select a cooking zone, then touch the timer symbol.
  • Use '+' and '-' to set the desired time.
  • The cooking zone will automatically turn off when the timer expires.

4.4 Safety Lock (Child Lock)

  • To activate the safety lock, touch and hold the lock symbol until the indicator lights up. This prevents accidental changes to settings.
  • To deactivate, touch and hold the lock symbol again.

4.5 Stop&Go / Pause Function

  • The hob features a Stop&Go function (also known as Pause).
  • Touch the pause symbol to temporarily stop all active cooking zones. The hob will maintain the current power settings.
  • Touch the pause symbol again to resume cooking with the previous settings.

4.6 Cookware Compatibility
