8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Solution |
|---|---|
| Drone does not power on | Ensure the drone battery is fully charged and correctly inserted. Check the power button. |
| Remote control does not power on | Ensure the remote control battery is fully charged. |
| Drone and remote control fail to pair | Turn off both the drone and remote control, then restart them in the correct sequence (drone first, then remote). Ensure they are within range. |
| Unstable flight / Drifting | Perform gyroscope calibration on a flat surface. Check for damaged propellers and replace if necessary. Ensure optical flow sensors are clean. |
| No FPV video feed | Ensure 5G WiFi is enabled on your smartphone (if using APP) and connected to the drone's WiFi network. Check camera connections. Ensure the drone and remote are paired. |
| Poor image/video quality | Ensure the camera lens is clean. Fly in good lighting conditions. Check for stable flight to avoid blurry footage. |
| Short flight time | Ensure the drone battery is fully charged. Flight time can be affected by aggressive flying, wind, and payload. Consider purchasing additional batteries. |
| Drone not responding to controls | Check battery levels of both drone and remote. Ensure drone and remote are paired and within range. Restart both devices. |
9. User Tips
- Practice in Low Speed: If you are new to drones, start flying in low-speed mode to get accustomed to the controls before attempting higher speeds or complex maneuvers.
- Utilize Optical Flow: For indoor flights or when precise hovering is needed, ensure the optical flow positioning is active and the drone is flying over a textured surface for best performance.
- Check Propellers Regularly: Even minor damage to propellers can significantly impact flight stability and efficiency. Always inspect them before and after each flight.
- Learn Headless Mode: Headless mode can simplify flying for beginners by eliminating the need to track the drone's front direction. Practice using it to gain confidence.
- Monitor Battery Life: Always keep an eye on the battery indicators on the remote control and drone. Plan your flights to ensure you have enough battery to return safely.
- Explore APP Features: The companion APP offers additional functionalities like trajectory flight and gesture controls. Take time to explore these features to enhance your flying experience.
