5. Setup Instructions
5.1 Initial Siren Setup
- Power On the Siren: Open the package, plug the special data cable into the alarm base, and connect it to a power source. The alarm will turn on.
- Download the App: Download the "Smart Life" app from your phone's app store (available on iOS and Android).
- Add Alarm Base to App: Open the Smart Life app. If the alarm template is not displayed, you can add it by tapping the '+' icon in the upper right corner of the app and following the on-screen instructions to discover and pair your siren.
5.2 Sensor Installation and Pairing
The system supports easy installation of additional wireless detectors. Simply fix the alarm host (siren) to the wall using the provided screws. Then, add additional PIR motion detectors, door and window sensors, and remote controls as needed through the Smart Life app's device management section.
- Door/Window Sensors: Mount the two parts of the sensor on the door/window frame and the door/window itself, ensuring they are aligned and close to each other when closed.
- Motion Detectors: Place motion detectors in areas where intruders are likely to pass, such as hallways or living rooms. Ensure they have a clear line of sight.
- Remote Controls: These are typically pre-paired. If not, follow the app's instructions to add new remote controls.

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Siren not powering on | No power, faulty adapter/cable, depleted internal battery. | Check power connection. Ensure the charger is working. Allow time for the internal battery to charge. |
| App cannot connect to siren | No WiFi connection, incorrect WiFi password, siren not in pairing mode, app glitch. | Ensure your phone and siren are on the same 2.4GHz WiFi network. Restart the siren and the app. Re-enter WiFi credentials in the app. |
| Sensor not triggering alarm | Sensor battery low/dead, sensor out of range, sensor not paired, improper sensor placement. | Check/replace sensor batteries. Ensure sensor is within range of the siren. Re-pair the sensor via the app. Adjust sensor placement. |
| False alarms | Motion sensor too sensitive, placed near heat sources/pets, door/window sensor misaligned. | Adjust motion sensor sensitivity in the app. Reposition motion sensors away from vents or pets. Realign door/window sensors. |
