6. Maintenance
- Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the touchscreen. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- General Care: Keep the unit free from dust and debris. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Software Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for any available software updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
7. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Product is always on or memory function does not work after power off:
Check your wiring. The red wire (ACC) needs to be connected to your car's ignition switch (car key hole) so the unit turns off with the car. The yellow wire (B+) needs to be connected to the positive pole of the battery, and the black wire (GND) to the negative pole. If the ACC and B+ lines are reversed during installation, the product will not retain memory settings after the power is off. Ensure all function wires are connected correctly. - Cannot connect to Bluetooth:
Delete any existing Bluetooth records on both your mobile phone and the car stereo. Then, re-match and connect the devices. When connecting a new Bluetooth device, previous records may need to be cleared. - Music is playing but no sound:
Check if the FM radio is currently active. If so, turn off the FM radio to allow other audio sources to play. - Car Stereo does not respond during Mirror Link connection:
If the car stereo does not respond after connecting your phone for Mirror Link, please try reinserting the USB cable. - Subwoofer connection:
The unit supports external subwoofers. Connect the subwoofer directly to the L-OUT and R-OUT ports. Alternatively, you can use an adapter and connect its lead to the B harness.
