2. Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure your power supply is sufficient (at least 500W brand power supply recommended). Always handle components with care to prevent damage from static electricity.
2.1 CPU Installation
- Open the pressure bar marked on the CPU socket.
- Open the buckle cover of the CPU base.
- Carefully place the Intel Core i3 8100 processor into the LGA 1151 socket. Pay attention to the four defenses, silent notch, and gold mountain corner alignment on the CPU and motherboard. Ensure pins are not crooked.
- Re-buckle the previously opened lever to secure the CPU.

Important Note:

2.2 RAM Installation
The motherboard features 2*UDIMM DDR4 memory sockets supporting dual channel up to 32GB. Insert the 2x8GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM modules into the designated slots. Ensure the notches on the RAM modules align with the keys in the slots, then press firmly until the clips on both ends snap into place.

2.3 M.2 SSD Installation
The motherboard supports both NVMe M.2 and NGFF SATA M.2 SSDs. Ensure you install the M.2 SSD correctly to prevent the interface from falling off due to stress.

2.4 Connecting Peripherals and Power
Refer to the motherboard layout diagram for connecting power, storage devices, and other peripherals.

- Power Connectors: Connect the 24-pin ATX power connector and the 8-pin ATX 12V power connector from your power supply to the motherboard.
- Storage: Connect SATA 3.0 devices (HDDs/SSDs) to the 3 SATA3.0 ports.
- Front Panel Connectors: Connect your case's front panel headers (Power Switch, Reset Switch, Power LED, HDD LED, Front USB 2.0, Front USB 3.0, Front Audio) to the corresponding pins on the motherboard as indicated in Figure 8.
- Rear I/O Ports:
- 2x PS/2 ports (for keyboard/mouse)
- 1x HDMI port
- 1x VGA port
- 2x USB 2.0 ports
- 1x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port
- 2x USB 3.0 ports
- 3-in-1 Audio jacks

3. Operating Instructions
Once all components are correctly installed and connected, you can power on your system. The motherboard will automatically detect the installed CPU and RAM. You may need to access the BIOS/UEFI setup to configure boot order, enable specific features, or adjust settings.
3.1 BIOS/UEFI Access
To enter the BIOS/UEFI setup, press the designated key (commonly DEL, F2, or F10) repeatedly during the initial boot sequence. Consult your system's documentation or on-screen prompts for the exact key.
3.2 Driver Installation
After installing your operating system, install the necessary drivers for the motherboard's chipset, audio, LAN, and any other integrated components. Drivers can typically be found on the manufacturer's website or provided on a support disk (if included). Contact customer service to obtain BIOS files and drivers if needed.
4. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your motherboard kit.
4.1 Cleaning
- Regularly clean dust from inside your PC case using compressed air.
- Ensure all fans (CPU, case, power supply) are free from obstructions.
- Do not use liquid cleaners directly on motherboard components.
4.2 BIOS Updates
Periodically check the JINGSHA support website for updated BIOS versions. BIOS updates can improve system stability, add support for new hardware, or fix bugs. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully when updating the BIOS to avoid system damage.
4.3 Component Handling
When handling components, especially the CPU and RAM, avoid touching the electrical contacts. Store unused components in anti-static bags.
5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
5.1 Memory Frequency Adjustment
The Intel Core i3 8100 processor officially supports a maximum memory frequency of DDR4 2400 MHz. If you install 2666 MHz memory modules, their operating frequency will automatically be reduced to 2400 MHz to match the CPU's specifications. This is normal behavior and does not indicate a fault with the memory or motherboard.
5.2 System Not Booting / No Display
- Check Power Connections: Ensure the 24-pin ATX and 8-pin ATX 12V power connectors are securely seated.
- Reseat Components: Remove and re-install the CPU, RAM modules, and any expansion cards (like a graphics card if used) to ensure they are properly seated.
- CMOS Battery: If the CR2032 battery was not installed, install one. A missing or dead CMOS battery can cause boot issues.
- Monitor Connection: Verify your monitor is connected to the correct video output (HDMI or VGA) on the motherboard or dedicated graphics card.
- Minimum Configuration: Try booting with only essential components: CPU, one RAM stick, and the power supply.
5.3 Overheating
Ensure the CPU cooler is properly installed and making good contact with the CPU. Verify that all case fans are functioning and providing adequate airflow. Check for dust buildup that might impede cooling.
