4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Device
Before initial use, ensure the device is fully charged. Connect the provided 12V/1.2A DC adapter to the 'DC IN' port on the side of the meter and plug it into a power outlet. The 'Charge' indicator LED will illuminate during charging.

4.2 Connecting to the LNB
- Ensure the satellite dish is roughly aimed in the correct direction.
- Locate the F-type connector on the top of the WS-6933 meter.
- Connect the cable from your LNB (Low Noise Block-downconverter) on the satellite dish to the F-type connector on the meter.
- If using a separate receiver, connect the cable from the meter's output (if available, or directly from LNB if meter is inline) to your satellite receiver.

4.3 Powering On
Slide the power switch located on the top of the device to the 'ON' position. The LCD screen will power on, and the main menu will be displayed.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Navigating the Menu
Use the arrow buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) to navigate through the menu options displayed on the 2.1-inch LCD screen. Press the 'OK' button to select an option and 'RETURN' to go back to the previous menu.
5.2 Satellite Signal Scan
- From the main menu, select 'Signal Scan' or 'Sat Setting' to configure satellite parameters.
- Choose the desired satellite from the list or add a new one.
- Configure LNB type, LO frequency, Transponder (TP) frequency, symbol rate, and polarization (Vertical/Horizontal).
- The meter will display real-time signal strength, quality, BER, and PWR readings. Adjust your satellite dish's azimuth, elevation, and LNB skew until the signal quality is maximized.
- An audible tone will indicate when a signal is locked, with the pitch increasing as signal quality improves.
5.3 DISEQC and 22KHz Tone
The WS-6933 supports DISEQC 1.0 /1.1 for switching between multiple LNBs or dishes, and 22KHz tone for high-band LNBs. These settings can be configured within the 'Sat Setting' menu.
5.4 Integrated Compass
The device includes an integrated compass to assist with initial dish alignment, helping to point the dish towards the correct satellite direction (azimuth).
6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Care
The device is powered by a 7.4V/800mAh Li-ion battery. To prolong battery life:
- Charge the battery fully before first use.
- Avoid completely discharging the battery.
- If storing the device for an extended period, charge it to about 50% and recharge every few months.

6.2 Software Upgrades
The WS-6933 supports software upgrades via its USB port. Connect the device to a computer using the provided USB cable and follow the instructions provided with the software update package (usually available from the manufacturer's website) to update the firmware.
6.3 Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the device's casing or internal components.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 No Power
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the adapter and check if the 'Charge' LED illuminates.
- Verify the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
7.2 No Signal or Weak Signal
- Check all cable connections between the LNB, meter, and receiver. Ensure F-connectors are tight.
- Verify that the LNB power supply (13V/18V) is active, indicated by the corresponding LEDs on the meter.
- Confirm that the correct satellite and transponder settings are selected in the meter's menu.
- Ensure there are no obstructions (trees, buildings) blocking the line of sight to the satellite.
- Adjust the dish alignment slowly and incrementally, checking the signal readings on the meter.
7.3 Incorrect Readings
- Ensure the LNB type and LO frequency are correctly set for your specific LNB.
- Check for any interference from nearby electronic devices.
8. User Tips
- Always start with a rough dish alignment using the integrated compass or a satellite finder app on your smartphone before fine-tuning with the meter.
- Make small, slow adjustments to the dish and LNB skew. The signal readings may take a moment to update.
- Pay attention to both signal strength and quality. High strength with low quality indicates interference or an incorrect LNB setting.
- Keep the meter's battery charged, especially for outdoor use, as maximum operating time is around 3 hours.
- Consider using the silicone case to protect the device from minor impacts and weather during outdoor installations.
