6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your UPERFECT portable monitor, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the matte screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Cleaning the Body: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor's casing.
- Protective Cover: Keep the protective cover clean and free from debris to prevent scratches when closed.
- Storage: When not in use, store the monitor in a cool, dry place, preferably in its protective cover, to prevent dust accumulation and accidental damage.
- Avoid Liquids: Do not expose the monitor to liquids. If liquid spills on the monitor, immediately disconnect power and allow it to dry completely before use.
7. Troubleshooting
- Screen Signal Poor or Flickers: Ensure you are using the provided PD Power adapter. Other adapters may not supply sufficient voltage. If flickering persists, try swapping the HDMI cable.
- "No Signal" or "Power Saving Mode" Appears: Try switching the Type-C cable head to the other side and reconnecting the monitor. Ensure your device is powered on and configured to output to an external display.
- No Display via USB-C: Check if the Type-C port on your PC/Laptop supports audio and video signals (e.g., Thunderbolt 3 or DisplayPort Alternate Mode). If not, you will need a "Type-C to HDMI" adapter for signal transmission.
- No Built-in Battery: This monitor does not have a built-in battery and cannot be charged. It requires external power via the PD Power adapter.
- No Touchscreen Function: This monitor does not feature touchscreen capabilities.
8. User Tips
- Power Save Mode: The monitor turns on in a default power save mode. Remember that there is no save function in sleep mode, so you need to manually close it if you wish to fully power it off.
- Panel Type: This monitor utilizes an IPS panel, not OLED technology.
