3. Setup
3.1 Mounting the Device
- Place the silicone pad on your bicycle's handlebar or stem.
- Position the standard mounting base over the silicone pad.
- Secure the base firmly using the provided silicone rings, wrapping them around the handlebar/stem and the base hooks.
- Attach the BKV-310 cycle computer to the mounting base by aligning it and twisting until it locks securely.
Note: Optional handlebar stands or one-piece handle holders are not included and must be purchased separately if desired.

3.2 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided Type-C USB cable. Connect the cable to the Type-C port on the device and a standard USB power source.
3.3 Power On and Language Selection
Press and hold the power button (usually the bottom-left button) to turn on the device. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred language from the 9 available options.
3.4 Satellite Connection
For accurate GPS tracking, ensure the device has a clear view of the sky. In an open field, the device typically establishes a satellite connection within 30 seconds.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the power button (bottom-left) until the screen illuminates.
- To power off: Press and hold the power button until the device shuts down.
4.2 Backlight Control
The device features a backlit display for visibility in low-light conditions.
- To turn on/off the backlight: Short press both the LEFT and RIGHT buttons simultaneously.
- The backlight will automatically stay on for 30 seconds when a speed is detected or a button is used, then dim to conserve battery.

4.3 Displaying Cycling Data
The BKV-310 records and displays 7 types of cycling data:
- Ride Time
- Average Speed
- Maximum Speed
- Total Mileage
- Total Time
- Miles Ridden
- Altitude
Use the device's buttons (typically the left and right buttons) to navigate through different data screens or modes. Refer to the on-screen icons for guidance:

4.4 Navigation
The device supports navigation features. Specific navigation instructions will be available through the device's menu system. Please consult the on-screen interface for detailed guidance on setting destinations and following routes.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Waterproofing
The BKV-310 has an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. To maintain its waterproof performance, always ensure the Type-C USB plug is properly and securely fastened when not charging.

5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the screen or casing.
5.3 Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Charge it regularly, especially if it will be stored for an extended period.
6. Troubleshooting
- No GPS Signal: Ensure the device has a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. Move to an open area if indoors or under heavy tree cover.
- Battery Draining Quickly: Reduce backlight brightness or turn it off when not needed. Ensure the device is fully charged before each ride.
- Display Not Responding: Try restarting the device by holding down the power button. If unresponsive, allow the battery to fully discharge and then recharge.
- Data Inaccuracy: Ensure the device is securely mounted and has a stable satellite connection.
