4. Setup and Installation

The X-HOUSE CAC1.0 is designed for easy, no-installation setup. Here are common usage scenarios:

4.1 Outdoor Direct Blowing

For outdoor camping or general use, simply place the air conditioner on a stable surface. Connect the power supply. The unit's outlet has a swing up and down feature, allowing you to direct the airflow as needed. Ensure the heat dissipation port faces away from the area to be cooled for optimal performance.

4.2 Installation on Car Window Glass

The unit can be installed on a car window for cooling the vehicle interior. This method utilizes the internal and external machine full isolation mode, preventing heat and drainage issues inside the car. The external unit is completely waterproof.

  1. Lower the car window to the desired position.
  2. Carefully place the air conditioner unit into the window opening, ensuring the external part is outside and the internal part is inside the vehicle.
  3. Use the provided window sealing silicone strip to seal any gaps around the unit and the window frame. This is crucial for maintaining cooling efficiency and preventing exhaust gas from entering the car.
  4. Connect the DC24V power cord. If using a 12V car battery, an optional DC 12V boost 26V power converter is required. For mains power, use the optional 220V mains to DC29V power adapter.
  5. Ensure the unit is stable and secure before operation.

The unique fuselage structure is designed to be lightweight and portable, not occupying excessive space inside the car or tent.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.

6.1 Cleaning the Unit

  • Before cleaning, always unplug the unit from the power source.
  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Periodically check and clean the air inlets and outlets to ensure they are free from dust and debris. A soft brush or vacuum cleaner can be used.

6.2 Drainage System

The X-HOUSE CAC1.0 features a no-drainage design in cooling mode. It is equipped with a water collection tray, water volume sensing, and a drainage pump that automatically discharges condensate water outdoors. This system prevents overflow even if the unit is tilted up to 15 degrees in any direction (front, back, left, or right).

No manual drainage is typically required during normal cooling operation. However, if you notice any unusual water accumulation or reduced performance, inspect the drainage outlet for blockages.
