2. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the components of your Baseus Stylus Pen.

2.1 Components
- Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Single press to check battery percentage via LED indicators.

2.2 LED Indicator Guide

3. Compatibility
The Baseus Smooth Writing 3 Stylus Pen is designed for Apple iPads with capacitive screens. Please refer to the table below for specific compatible models.

Note: This stylus is primarily designed for Apple iPads. Compatibility with other Android tablets (e.g., OnePlus Pad 3, Redmi Pad Pro) or iPhones (e.g., iPhone 16 Pro) is not guaranteed and may not support all features like magnetic attachment or specific functions.
4. Setup and Connection
4.1 Power On, Pick-Up to Use Instantly
- Press and hold the power button to turn on the stylus. It is now ready to use.
- With a built-in intelligent program, the stylus automatically enters sleep mode after 3 minutes of inactivity. Lifting the stylus will reactivate it.
- To turn off the stylus, press and hold the power button again.
4.2 Bluetooth Connection (for Bluetooth Version)

- After power on, the blue light will flash for entering pairing mode.
- Tablet setting path: Settings > Bluetooth > turn on Bluetooth > tap “Baseus-PS052” to connect.
- Once Bluetooth displays “Connected”, the stylus’ blue light will stay on for 10s before turning off, indicating successful pairing.
Note: After the blue light flash for 2mins, the green light will stay on for 10s then turn off if no Bluetooth connection is made.
4.3 App Connection (for Bluetooth Version)
- Go to the App Store and download the “Baseus App”.
- After entering the App, power on the stylus, tap “Add Device”, and select [Baseus-PS052].
- Once the device is successfully added, go to the stylus home page to customize button gestures, adjust signal settings, and so on.
Note: During the App pairing process, ensure the stylus is not connected to other devices and has sufficient power. If pairing fails, power off the stylus and turn it back on, then try re-connecting.

6. Battery Management
6.1 Battery Life
The stylus is equipped with a low-power chip and a 140mAh battery, providing up to 17 hours of continuous use and approximately 12 months of standby time. This represents a 70% increase in endurance time compared to previous models.

6.2 Real-Time Battery Display (for Bluetooth Version)
Monitor the battery status by checking the 3 LED indicators on the stylus or through Bluetooth on your tablet.

6.3 Charging
Connect the provided Type-C cable to the stylus's charging port (under the dust cap) and a power source. Refer to the LED Indicator Guide for charging status.

7.1 Pen Tip Replacement
The stylus uses an original POM pen tip. To replace the tip, simply twist the old one off and twist a new one on. The POM tip is designed for durability, tested for up to 30km of writing.

7.2 Anti-Dust Plug
The integrated anti-dust plug precisely fits the charging port to prevent dust and loss, better protecting the charging port.

8.3 Battery Not Charging Properly
