Setup
1. Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the trimmer and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, laptop, USB charger, power bank). The LED smart display light will indicate charging status. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours and provides up to 90 minutes of operating time.

2. Attaching Guide Combs
To achieve desired hair lengths, select one of the included guide combs (1mm, 3mm, or 5mm). Align the comb with the trimmer head and gently push until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely attached before use.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press the one-key switch button located on the device to turn it on or off. The LED indicator will illuminate when the device is active.

2. Trimming and Shaving
- For Trimming (with guide combs): Attach the desired guide comb. Hold the trimmer against the skin with the comb flat, moving it against the direction of hair growth.
- For Close Shaving (without guide combs): The VGR V-393 features a dual-sided reciprocating blade and can be used for close shaving. For a smoother finish, a foil shaver head can be used (if included or purchased separately). Gently press the blade against the skin and move in short, controlled strokes.
- Floating Head: The floating head design adapts to the contours of your face and body, ensuring a comfortable and efficient trim/shave while reducing friction.

3. Wet and Dry Use
The VGR V-393 is IPX5 waterproof, allowing for both dry shaving and wet shaving with foam or gel, or even in the shower. This enhances comfort and cleaning convenience.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
The VGR V-393 is fully washable (IPX5). After each use:
- Turn off the device.
- Remove any attached guide combs.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to remove excess hair from the blades and trimmer head.
- Rinse the blades and trimmer head under warm running water for about 15 seconds. You may also soak it briefly.
- Shake off any excess water.
2. Drying and Storage
Allow the trimmer to air dry completely before storing. Ensure no water remains inside the device. Store the trimmer and its accessories in the travel bag in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Note: Special maintenance fluid for hair clippers is not included due to logistics and transportation restrictions. Regular cleaning with water is sufficient for this device.
Troubleshooting
- Device not turning on: Ensure the device is fully charged. Check the USB charging cable for damage and ensure it's properly connected to a power source.
- Poor trimming/shaving performance: Clean the blades thoroughly to remove any hair buildup. Ensure guide combs are correctly attached. If performance remains poor, the blades may need replacement over time.
- LED indicator not working: If the device functions but the LED indicator does not, contact customer support.
