To replace a switch:
- Use the included key puller to carefully remove the keycap.
- Use the included shaft puller to gently grip and pull the switch straight up from the PCB.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press it down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.
- Reattach the keycap.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning Keycaps: Use the key puller to remove keycaps. Clean them with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.
- Cleaning the Case: Wipe the keyboard case with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Dust Removal: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps and switches.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the keyboard in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
7. Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding in Wired Mode:
- Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Check if the mode switch is set to 'Wired'. Try a different USB port or cable.
- 2.4G Wireless connection issues:
- Ensure the 2.4G USB receiver is properly plugged into your computer. Check if the mode switch is set to '2.4G Wireless'. Re-pair by holding Fn + R for 3 seconds. Move the keyboard closer to the receiver to reduce interference.
- Bluetooth pairing failure:
- Ensure the mode switch is set to 'Bluetooth'. Make sure the keyboard is in pairing mode (Fn + Q/W/E held for 3-5 seconds until light flashes). Remove any previous keyboard entries from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again. Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled.
- RGB lighting not working or stuck:
- Press Fn + Del to toggle the lighting. Try cycling through effects with Fn + \|. Ensure the keyboard battery has sufficient charge if in wireless mode.
- Keys not registering after switch replacement:
- Carefully remove the keycap and switch. Check if the switch pins are bent. Straighten any bent pins and reinsert the switch firmly into the socket. Ensure the switch is fully seated.
