3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Three Mode Switching (RGBCCT/RGBW/RGB)
The controller supports three modes for connecting with LED strips: RGBCCT, RGBW, and RGB. Each mode corresponds to a different color indicator on the device. To switch modes:
- Short press the "opt" button once to cycle through the available functions.
- Observe the indicator light color to identify the current mode.
- Connect the LED strip wires to the corresponding input terminals based on the selected mode.

3.2 Power-on Status Settings
You can configure the controller's behavior when power is restored:
- Long press the "opt" button for more than 5 seconds.
- The indicator light will flash in light blue.
- After 4 seconds of being "off", it will resume its previous color, indicating the power-on status setting is complete.
- The default power-on status is 'light on'.
- If the indicator flashes 3 times in light blue, it means 'lighting on' is set for power-on status.
- If it flashes 4 times in light blue, it means 'light off' is set for power-on status.

3.3 Selectable Frequency
To match different power supplies and reduce noise, the device's frequency is selectable:
- The default frequency is 1000Hz.
- Short press the "Reset" key to switch to the next frequency in the sequence: 600Hz, 800Hz, 1000Hz, 2000Hz, 4000Hz, 8000Hz.
- The indicator light will flash white and then return to its previous color after 2 seconds to confirm the change.

- 16 Million Colors Changing: Access a wide spectrum of colors to customize your lighting.
4. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GLEDOPTO LED Strip Controller, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Keep the device in a dry environment, away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
- Clean the exterior of the controller with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the controller to prevent overheating.
- Regularly check wire connections to ensure they are secure.
5. Troubleshooting
- LEDs not reaching maximum brightness simultaneously: To maintain smooth maximum brightness, all lamp beads will not reach maximum brightness at the same time. For example, 100% warm white + 0% cool white, or 50% warm white + 50% cool white will achieve 100% brightness, but not 100% warm white + 100% cool white.
- Insufficient brightness at the end of long strip lights: Strip lights exceeding 20 meters may experience insufficient voltage and brightness at the end due to voltage drop. Consider using shorter strips or additional power injection for very long runs.
- Device not found during app setup: If the gateway app does not find the device, try powering the controller off and on, or perform a reset.
- Controller not responding to commands: Ensure you have a compatible ZigBee gateway for ZigBee/Plus/Pro version products. If you do not have a gateway, you must use a GLEDOPTO 2.4G RF remote control or wall switch.
- Remote control not working: This device is only compatible with the GLEDOPTO 2.4G RF remote control. It is not compatible with other remote controls.
- Resetting the controller: Long press the "Reset" button for 5 seconds to reset the controller to its factory settings.

7. User Tips
- For optimal brightness and color mixing, understand that warm white and cool white LEDs contribute to the total brightness. You won't achieve double brightness by setting both to 100% simultaneously.
- If using long LED strips (over 20 meters), consider potential voltage drop. This can lead to dimmer lights at the end of the strip. Plan for shorter segments or power injection points if necessary.
- Always ensure your ZigBee gateway is properly set up and connected to your network before attempting to pair the controller.
- If you don't have a ZigBee gateway, remember that only the GLEDOPTO 2.4G RF remote control or compatible wall switch will work with this controller.
