1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the CYCLAMI CYC1200 Pro Bicycle Headlight. This high-performance cycling light features 1200 lumens brightness, an anti-glare cutoff line, IPX4 water resistance, and a convenient wireless remote control. This manual provides detailed instructions for proper installation, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Headlight

Before first use, fully charge the headlight using the provided Type-C charging cable. Connect the Type-C end to the headlight's charging port and the USB-A end to a standard USB power adapter (not included).

  • The battery indicator light will show charging status (refer to Section 4.3 for details).

3.2 Mounting the Headlight

The CYC1200 Pro is designed for handlebar mounting using the hanging bracket.

  1. Attach the hanging bracket to your bicycle handlebar. Ensure it is securely fastened and positioned to allow the light to hang below the handlebar.
  2. Slide the CYC1200 Pro headlight onto the hanging bracket until it clicks into place.
  3. Adjust the angle of the headlight to ensure the cutoff line illuminates the road effectively without glaring oncoming traffic or pedestrians.

3.3 Installing the Wireless Remote Control

The wireless remote control allows for easy mode switching while riding.

  1. Use the remote control strap to secure the wireless remote control to a convenient location on your handlebar, within easy reach.
  2. To pair the remote control with the headlight, long-press the ON/OFF button on the remote for three seconds. The headlight will indicate successful pairing (e.g., a flash or change in indicator light).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the ON/OFF button on the headlight or the wireless remote control to turn the light on or off.

4.2 Switching Light Modes

The CYC1200 Pro features five distinct light modes:

  • Click Cycle Modes: Press the MODE button on the remote or the main button on the light to cycle through Eco Mode (100Lm), Low (200Lm), Medium (500Lm), and High (800Lm).
  • Double-click Mode: Double-click the MODE button to activate Ultra mode (1200Lm).
  • Memory Function: The light features a memory mode. When turned on, it will resume the last operating mode used before it was turned off.

4.3 Real-time Power Display

The headlight is equipped with an indicator light to show the remaining battery level:

  • Green Light: 100% - 50% battery remaining
  • Yellow Light: 50% - 10% battery remaining
  • Red Light: 10% - 0% battery remaining (recharge immediately)

4.4 Cut-off Line Design

The CYC1200 Pro features a clear cut-off line design to prevent glare for oncoming road users and vehicles, enhancing safety during night riding by providing safe and even light coverage.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the light body and lens with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the Type-C charging port cover is securely closed to maintain IPX4 water resistance.

5.2 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Charge the battery at least once every three months if not in regular use.
  • Store the light in a cool, dry place when not in use.

5.3 Water Resistance

The CYC1200 Pro is IPX4 water resistant, meaning it is protected against splashing water from any direction. It is suitable for riding in rainy conditions but should not be submerged in water.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Light does not turn on:
    • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source using the Type-C cable.
    • Check if the main power button on the light is functioning.
  • Remote control not working:
    • Ensure the remote control is paired with the headlight. Long-press the ON/OFF button on the remote for 3 seconds to re-pair.
    • Check the remote control's battery (if applicable, though typically integrated for such small remotes).
  • Light output is dim:
    • The battery level may be low. Recharge the headlight.
    • Ensure the lens is clean and free from dirt or obstructions.
