4. Setup and Installation

4.2 Physical Connections

  1. Power Connection: Connect the provided power cable to the AC inlet on the rear panel and plug it into a suitable power outlet (100-240V AC, 50/60Hz).
  2. Tuner Inputs: Connect your DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2, DVB-C, ISDB-T/Tb, ATSC-T, or DTMB signals to the F-female tuner input ports. Each module supports 4 tuners, and the unit can accommodate up to 6 modules for a total of 24 tuners.
  3. ASI Inputs/Outputs: Use BNC female connectors for ASI input (2 separate ports) and ASI output (2 separate ports) as required for your system architecture.
  4. Network Connection (IP Output): Connect an Ethernet cable from the RJ45 NMS Port to your network switch or router for IP streaming output (256*SPTS or 4*MPTS) and web-based management access.

After making all physical connections, power on the device. The initial configuration is typically performed via the web-based management interface.

  • Firewall: Check if any network firewalls are blocking the outgoing IP streams.

7.4 Web Interface Inaccessible

  • Network Connectivity: Ensure your computer is on the same network as the DMB-90E and can communicate with it.
  • IP Address: Verify the device's IP address is correct.
  • Browser Issues: Try a different web browser or clear your browser's cache.
