Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches.
- Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the camera regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or app for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
- Memory Card: Periodically format the MicroSD/TF card to prevent data corruption and ensure smooth recording. Back up important files before formatting.
Troubleshooting
- Camera not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
- Cannot connect to WiFi: Make sure the camera's WiFi hotspot is active. Double-check the WiFi password. Try restarting both the camera and your smartphone. Ensure your phone is within range of the camera's WiFi signal.
- App not showing live view: Verify that your phone is connected to the camera's WiFi network and not your home/office WiFi. Close and reopen the app.
- Recording issues: Check if the MicroSD/TF card is inserted correctly and has sufficient free space. Ensure the card is Class 10 or higher. Try formatting the card (after backing up data).
- Poor video quality: Ensure the lens is clean. Check the video resolution settings in the app. Ensure adequate lighting for non-night vision recordings.
- Short battery life: Ensure the camera is fully charged. Reduce usage of power-intensive features like continuous WiFi streaming if not needed.
- Camera is hot during operation: It is normal for electronic devices to generate some heat during operation, especially during continuous recording or charging. If it becomes excessively hot, discontinue use and contact support.
