1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Smart 3 Phase WiFi Energy Meter (Model ATMS100133). 6. Setup and Installation

IMPORTANT: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all local and national electrical codes.

6.1 Physical Installation

  1. Power Disconnection: Before starting, ensure the main power supply to the electrical panel is completely disconnected. Verify with a voltage tester.
  2. Mounting: Mount the Smart Meter onto a standard 35mm DIN rail within your electrical panel.
  3. Wiring the Meter:
    • Connect the Neutral (N) wire to the N terminal on the meter.
    • Connect the three Live (L1, L2, L3) wires to the corresponding L1, L2, L3 terminals on the meter.
    • Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
  4. Connecting Current Transformers (CTs):
    • Identify the three main phase wires (L1, L2, L3) that you wish to monitor.
    • Open each split-core CT and clamp it around one of the phase wires. Ensure the arrow on the CT points in the direction of current flow (typically towards the load).
    • Connect the red and black wires from each CT to the corresponding B1/R1, B2/R2, B3/R3 terminals on the meter. For example, CT for L1 connects to B1/R1, CT for L2 to B2/R2, and CT for L3 to B3/R3.
    • The CTs are designed for 0-100A measurement and do not require cutting the main wires.

6.2 App Connection (Tuya Smart)

  1. Download App: Download the "Tuya Smart" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
  2. Register/Login: Open the app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
  3. Power On: Restore power to the electrical panel. The meter should power on.
  4. Pairing Mode: Press and hold the "Touch 5s to Connect" button on the meter for approximately 5 seconds until the WiFi indicator light starts blinking rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
  5. Add Device: In the Tuya Smart app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Electrical" -> "Energy Meter (Wi-Fi)".
  6. Connect to WiFi: Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the meter to your 2.4GHz WiFi network. Ensure your phone is also connected to the same 2.4GHz network during setup.
  7. Device Added: Once successfully connected, the WiFi indicator light on the meter will become solid, and the device will appear in your Tuya Smart app.

7. Operating Instructions

Once connected to the Tuya Smart App, you can monitor your energy usage in real-time and access historical data.

7.1 Real-Time Monitoring

The app displays various metrics:

  • Total Active Energy (kWh)
  • Positive Active Energy (kWh) (Grid Consumption)
  • Reverse Active Energy (kWh) (Solar Generation)
  • Total Active Power (kW)
  • Total Reactive Power (kVar)
  • Total Power Factor
  • Current (A) for each phase (L1, L2, L3)
  • Voltage (V) for each phase (L1, L2, L3)
  • Power (W) for each phase (L1, L2, L3)

The meter supports bi-directional metering, allowing you to track both energy consumed from the grid and any energy generated (e.g., from solar panels) and fed back into the grid.

7.2 Data Sharing and Alerts

  • You can share device access with other users through the Tuya Smart App for collaborative energy management.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the meter with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Connection Check: Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
  • Firmware Updates: Keep the Tuya Smart App updated to ensure the best performance and access to new features. The meter's firmware may also be updated via the app.

9. Troubleshooting
