- Fast Charging Speed: Achieves over 95% of rated capacity within 10 seconds to 10 minutes.
- Long Cycle Life: Deep charge and discharge cycles can exceed 500,000 times, with no "memory effect".
- Super High Current Discharge: High energy conversion efficiency, minimal process loss, and current energy cycle efficiency ≥ 90%.
- High Power Density: Up to 300W/KG~5000W/KG, 5~10 times that of traditional batteries.
- Environmentally Friendly: Pollution-free raw materials, production, use, storage, and disassembly.
- Simple Circuitry: No complex charging circuits required, high safety factor, and maintenance-free for long-term use.
- Wide Temperature Range: Excellent performance in ultra-low temperatures, operating from -25℃ to +70℃.
Disadvantage: Supercapacitors have a short energy retention time and high self-discharge, meaning they cannot store energy for extended periods like traditional batteries.
2.3 Key Features
- Vehicle Starting Function: Designed to resolve vehicle power outages and starting issues.
- Supercapacitor Technology: Offers maintenance-free operation, quick charging, rapid emergency starts, large capacity, stable power storage, and physical discharge for environmental friendliness.
- Advanced Safety Protections: Includes overcharge protection, short circuit protection, over discharge protection, temperature protection, and anti-reverse connection protection.
- Environmentally Friendly & Portable: Safe for long-term storage, can be taken on planes, and placed in the trunk without risk of spontaneous combustion or explosion.
2.4 Extreme Weather Performance
The JSC 2100 is designed to operate reliably in a wide range of temperatures, from extreme cold (-40°C/-40°F) to high heat (70°C/158°F).

4. Setup and Charging
Since the JSC 2100 is a supercapacitor device and does not store energy for long periods like lithium batteries, it is crucial to ensure the device is sufficiently charged before each use. Fully charge the device as described below before attempting to start a car.
4.1 Charging Methods
The JSC 2100 offers multiple charging options:
- From a Car Battery (with partial power):
- Insert the plug of the battery cable completely into the EC8 connector of the device.
- Clamp the positive pole (+) of the car battery with the red alligator clip.
- Clamp the negative pole (-) of the car battery with the black alligator clip.
- The device will start charging automatically after accessing the car battery until it is fully charged.
- From a Completely Discharged Car Battery (alternative methods):
If the car battery is completely discharged and cannot supply power to the device, you can use the following methods to quickly charge the jump starter:
- Charge it via another vehicle's battery.
- Charge via a power bank with a 5V/2A USB port.
- Charge via another vehicle's cigarette lighter port (cigarette lighter charging adapter not included).
Once the device is fully charged using any of these methods, you can proceed to jump-start your car.
5. Operating Instructions
The JSC 2100 supports 12V vehicles. Follow these steps to jump-start your vehicle:
5.1 Method 1: Car Battery with Partial Power
This method applies when your car battery has some residual power, allowing the device to detect the battery voltage.
- Initial Charge: When you first receive the device, fully charge it. Ensure the power display shows 100% before each use.
- Connect to Device: Fully insert the plug of the battery cable into the EC8 port on the JSC 2100.
- Connect to Car Battery:
- Connect the red alligator clip to the positive (+) terminal of your car battery.
- Connect the black alligator clip to the negative (-) terminal of your car battery.
- Wait for Charge: The device will automatically begin charging from your car battery. Wait until the device indicates it is fully charged (e.g., 100% on the LCD display).
- Start Vehicle: Once the JSC 2100 is fully charged, attempt to start your vehicle.
- Disconnect: After the vehicle starts, disconnect the alligator clips from the car battery, then disconnect the cable from the JSC 2100.
5.2 Method 2: Car Battery Completely Discharged
If your car battery is completely dead, you will need to charge the JSC 2100 using an alternative method first (as described in Section 4.1, point 2). Once the JSC 2100 is fully charged:
- Connect to Device: Fully insert the plug of the battery cable into the EC8 port on the JSC 2100.
- Connect to Car Battery:
- Connect the red alligator clip to the positive (+) terminal of your car battery.
- Connect the black alligator clip to the negative (-) terminal of your car battery.
- Start Vehicle: Attempt to start your vehicle immediately.
- Disconnect: After the vehicle starts, disconnect the alligator clips from the car battery, then disconnect the cable from the JSC 2100.
Important Safety Note:
- Always ensure correct polarity when connecting the alligator clips to the car battery.
- Do not touch the red and black clamps together.
- Do not attempt to jump-start vehicles with voltages other than 12V.
6. Maintenance
One of the key advantages of supercapacitor technology is its low maintenance requirement. The AUTOPHIX JSC 2100 is designed to be maintenance-free for long-term use.
- Cleaning: Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Although it performs well in extreme temperatures, prolonged storage in such conditions is not recommended.
- Regular Checks: Periodically inspect the cables and alligator clips for any signs of damage or wear. Replace damaged components immediately.
- Charging Before Use: Due to the supercapacitor's inherent self-discharge, always ensure the device is fully charged before each intended use, even if it has been stored for a short period.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your AUTOPHIX JSC 2100, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not charge or shows low power. | Car battery completely dead; improper connection; faulty charging cable/port. |
|
| Vehicle does not start after jump-starting. | Insufficient charge in JSC 2100; vehicle issue unrelated to battery; incorrect connection. |
|
| Device displays an error message. | Safety protection activated (e.g., reverse polarity, short circuit). |
|
8. User Tips
- Always keep the device charged, especially before long trips, as supercapacitors do not hold charge for extended periods.
- For optimal performance, ensure the car battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion before attaching the clamps.
- If your car battery is completely dead, remember to charge the jump starter using an external power source (like a power bank) before connecting it to your car.
