2. Setup

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Locating Nearby Items
- Open the "Find My" app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
- Select the "Items" tab and choose your Micflip tracker from the list.
- Tap "Play Sound" to make the tracker emit a loud sound (85-95 dB), helping you locate it in complex environments like cluttered rooms.
- For quick access, you can also use Siri by saying, "Hey Siri, find my [item name]," where [item name] is what you named your tracker.

3.2 Global Positioning and Lost Mode
- The Micflip tracker utilizes the Apple Find My network, which consists of hundreds of millions of Apple devices worldwide. If your item is out of your Bluetooth range, any nearby Apple device in the network can anonymously and securely relay its location to you.
- If you leave an item behind, your phone will pop up a notification to remind you. You can then follow directions in the Find My app to navigate back to your item's last known location.
- To enable Lost Mode, select your tracker in the Find My app, then activate "Lost Mode." You can enter a contact phone number and a message that will be displayed if someone finds your item and scans the tracker.

3.3 Sharing Items (iOS 17 and above)
- With iOS 17 or newer, you can share your Micflip tracker with up to 5 other people. This allows multiple users to track the same item within their own Find My app.
- To share, select the item in the Find My app, then look for the sharing option and follow the prompts to add contacts.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
The Micflip tracker uses a standard CR2032 button battery, which can last up to 12 months depending on usage. The battery is user-replaceable.
- Monitor Battery Level: You can check the current battery level of your tracker within the Apple Find My app.
- Open the Tracker: Carefully open the tracker's casing to access the battery compartment. Refer to Figure 7 for visual guidance.
- Replace Battery: Remove the old CR2032 battery and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity (+ side up).
- Close Casing: Securely close the tracker's casing.
