4. Setup and Installation
The WOLTU Pleated Blinds offer two installation methods: drilling-free clamping or screwing to the window frame.
4.1. Measurement Guidelines
- Measure the width of your window carefully.
- Recommended order width: Window width + approximately 4 cm (for better blackout).
- Order height: Height of the entire window frame.
- Ensure the measurement does not exceed the window handle.
- The suitable window frame fold thickness is 1.5-2.3 cm (without seal).
4.2. Drilling-Free Clamping Installation (Klemmfix)
- Unpack all components, including the clamping rails and screws.
- Attach the clamping clips to the top and bottom of your window frame. Ensure they are securely positioned.
- Use a screwdriver to tighten the screws on the clips, securing them firmly to the window frame.
- Before attaching the blind, ensure the pleated blinds are closed.
- Insert the retaining cords of the blind into the clamping carriers and tighten them properly.
- Trim any excess string from the retaining cords using scissors or a utility knife.
- Carefully attach the pleated blind unit to the installed clips on the window frame.
4.3. Alternative Screwed Installation
If preferred, or if the window frame thickness is not suitable for clamping, use the provided clamping plates to screw the blind directly to the window sash.

5. Operating Instructions
Your WOLTU Pleated Blinds feature an upper and lower biparting open method, allowing flexible light and privacy control.
- To adjust the blind, gently grasp the two middle handles located on the top and bottom rails of the blind.
- Slide the top handle downwards to lower the upper part of the blind, or slide the bottom handle upwards to raise the lower part of the blind.
- You can adjust both the top and bottom sections independently to achieve your desired level of sun protection and privacy.

6. Maintenance and Care
To keep your WOLTU Pleated Blinds in optimal condition, follow these simple care instructions:
- The blinds can be easily cleaned by wiping them with a damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the fabric or the aluminium profile.
- Regularly check the tension of the retaining cords to ensure smooth operation.
7. Troubleshooting
- Pleating keeps slipping during installation: If you notice the pleating is not holding its position during installation, it indicates that the retaining cords are not sufficiently tight. Apply more tension to the tether lines and tie the strings securely.
- Blind does not move smoothly: Check for any obstructions in the rails or if the cords are tangled. Ensure the middle handles are clean and free from debris.
8. User Tips
- For optimal blackout, consider ordering a blind width that is approximately 4 cm wider than your window.
- If your window dimensions are not standard, remember that the aluminium profile width can be shortened by up to 10 cm (5 cm on each side) using appropriate tools.
- Always ensure the pleated blinds are closed before making final adjustments to the retaining cords during installation to prevent issues with pleating.
