4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Mounting the Device
The device offers two primary installation methods. The actual bracket style may vary, so refer to the physical product.
Method 1: Glass Suction Cup Type Suspension Installation

Attach the suction cup bracket to a clean, smooth surface on your dashboard or windshield. Ensure a secure fit before mounting the multimedia player.
Method 2: Desktop Horizontal Installation

Use the fixed bracket to place the multimedia player horizontally on a flat surface within your vehicle.
4.2 Power Connection (Cigarette Lighter)
The device is powered via the cigarette lighter power plug. After installing the device, insert the power plug into your car's cigarette lighter socket to turn it on.

Power Supply Voltage: 12V~30V DC. The voltage range may vary with different product models. Refer to the product identification for specific information.
Note: Always use the standard cigarette lighter charger. Using a non-original or low-quality charger may damage the device, cause overheating, or impair FM transmission functionality.
4.3 Reversing Camera Connection (Optional)
The reversing video input connects via an RCA adapter cable. When a signal is detected, the LCD automatically switches to the camera view. The camera is purchased separately.

The yellow line in the diagram represents the extension line of the rearview camera. The red short line at the end of the extension line is the reversing trigger line, which should be connected to the power line of the reversing light. This triggers the rearview camera when reverse gear is engaged.
Safety Warning: When driving normally, avoid turning on the rearview camera to prevent distraction.
5. Operation
5.1 Bluetooth (BT) Pairing Connection
Bluetooth allows for music playback and hands-free calls. If using wireless CarPlay, BT pairing is required first.

- Click the settings icon to enter the settings page, then click the BT icon to enter the BT connection page.
- Search for the device's BT name. Your phone will display a matching code. Click and confirm to match and connect. Common PIN numbers are "0000", "1234", "123456", or "88888888" (if required).
- Pairing Devices: If the car is not paired, go to Phone > Settings > BT > Search for Device. Find the BT name "CAR***" of the host to connect. Your phone will prompt for a PIN code (from the settings interface) or allow direct confirmation, then display "Phone Device Name" to indicate successful connection.
Call Function
- Input the phone number on the interface. Use the delete button to correct incorrect entries.
- Press the dial button to make a call.
- Press the end call button to terminate the current call.
Telephone Directory
- Enter the phone book interface. Click the [Sync Contact] button to request synchronization of your contacts.
- Search for contacts by clicking the search button and entering English letters in the search box.
BT Music Playback Function
The BT music playback interface allows connection to a BT phone for playback/pause/up/down operations. To play songs from your phone, navigate to the music page on your phone and initiate playback.
5.2 Audio Output Methods
The device supports three audio output methods:

1. Built-in Speaker
The device has a built-in 1W speaker. When playing music from a USB/TF flash drive, the sound will output from this speaker. To make the sound louder, you can transfer it to your car's speakers using other methods.
2. FM Transmit
This mode transmits audio from the device to your original car radio via FM signal.

- After selecting FM mode, FM transmission is enabled by default.
- Tune the device to an unoccupied FM frequency (e.g., FM106.0MHz).
- Adjust your car's radio to the same FM frequency.
- All audio from the device will then be transmitted to your car's speakers.
Notes:
- For optimal sound quality, use an unoccupied frequency band.
- Some models may have an 'ON' button in the FM Transmission UI to enable audio transmission. If no button is present, it defaults to ON.
- When using FM transmit, the volume cannot be adjusted on this device; control it via your car's original system.
- Using a non-original power cable may degrade FM transmission signals or render the function inoperative.
3. AUX Line Transmission
The AUX line transmits audio to the original car player. This feature is supported by some models only.

5.3 Mirror Link Function
Mirror Link allows you to display your phone's screen on the multimedia player. Compatibility and functionality depend on the product model and connection type.

For Android Mirror Link
Wired Mirror Link (supported by some models):
- Connect your Android phone to the device using an original USB cable.
- When prompted on your phone, choose "trust" to allow the full HD display of video or images.
- Ensure BT is connected for sound transmission. Some models may require mobile app installation authorization.

Wireless Mirror Link (supported by some models):
- Use your mobile phone to wirelessly search for and connect to the device.
- Download the prompted APP application on your Android phone and grant necessary authorizations.
- In the mobile app, select the wireless search device, click connect, and confirm authorization.
For iPhone Mirror Link
Wired Mirror Link (supported by some models):
- Connect your iPhone to the device using an original USB cable.
- When prompted on your phone, choose "trust" to allow the full HD display of video or images.

Wireless Mirror Link (supported by some models):
- Wirelessly connect your iPhone to the device.
- Select 'Car - AirPlay' from 'Screen Mirroring' on your iPhone.
5.4 Apple CarPlay (Wired & Wireless)
CarPlay integrates your iPhone with the car's display. Some models may not support wireless connections.

Wired Connection
Connect your iPhone to the USB port using an Apple original or certified cable.
Wireless Connection
First, enable Bluetooth (BT) and Wi-Fi on your mobile phone, then connect to the device's BT. It will automatically enter the CarPlay interface. The signal is transmitted via Wi-Fi, so CarPlay will continue to function even if BT is turned off. If Wi-Fi is turned off, CarPlay will disconnect.
5.5 Android Auto (Wired & Wireless)
Android Auto integrates your Android phone with the car's display. This feature may not be supported in all countries, and Google Play services must be available locally. Some models may not support wireless connections.

You need to download and install the "Android Auto" software from Google Play. A mobile phone with Android 10.0 or higher is generally required. A valid data cable connection is essential for wired use.
Wired Connection
Connect your Android phone using a USB data cable, and it will automatically enter the Android Auto interface.
Wireless Connection
First, enable Bluetooth (BT) and Wi-Fi on your mobile phone, then connect to the device's BT. It will automatically enter the Android Auto interface. The signal is transmitted via Wi-Fi, so Android Auto will continue to function even if BT is turned off. If Wi-Fi is turned off, Android Auto will disconnect.
5.6 TF Card / USB Media Playback
The device supports playing audio and video files from a TF card or USB flash drive.

Click the application icon to enter the application interface, then select the audio or video playback interface. Choose your desired file to play.
Supported Audio/Video Formats: AVI, MKV, QT, MPG, ASF, FLV, RMVB, MP3, WMA, ACC, WAVE, FLAC, APE, OGG, MP4.

5.7 Other Functions
- AV IN (CAM IN): Video input interface for connecting the reversing camera via a 2.5mm plug to an RCA cable.
- USB Port: For USB devices to play music, video, pictures, Mirrorlink, CarPlay, or Android Auto. (Some models support Type-C; some do not have a USB interface).
- TF Card: Insert TF card for music, video, and pictures (supported by some models).
- AUX Out: Output audio to other equipment via a 3.5mm AUX cable (supported by some models).
- IR: Remote control signal receiver (only some models have remote control).
- DC IN: 3.5mm power cord plug (some models are Type-C power plug).
- MIC IN: 3.5mm microphone jack for external lavalier microphone (supported by some models).
- V-OUT: Output video signal to other monitors via a 3.5mm AUX cable (supported by some models).
- POWER: Power button to turn the device on/off (supported by some models).

6. Settings
6.1 Factory Set

6.2 Sound Setup
You can adjust the sound effect parameters according to your preferences.
6.3 Language Setting
Multiple languages are available. You can change the language to suit your region. The default language is English.
6.4 Time Setup
Linking your iPhone will automatically synchronize the time. Android Auto does not support time synchronization, so you can set the time manually, and the system will record it.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues and their potential solutions.
7.1 FM Transmitter Poor Signal Quality or High Noise
If the FM transmission signal is poor, ensure the car radio antenna is properly inserted and organize the wiring harness to avoid interference within the frequency band.
7.2 Wireless CarPlay Disconnects or Fails to Work
When connecting to CarPlay, avoid connecting your phone to other wireless networks to prevent CarPlay disconnections.
7.3 Unstable Bracket Adhesion
If the bracket is not firm or the suction cup has weak adhesion, ensure the pasting area is clean and dry before application. This helps prevent bubbles and unstable adhesion, especially in high temperatures.
7.4 Bluetooth Not Synchronized or Caller Cannot Hear Sound
Ensure that the microphone position is not blocked by foreign objects.
7.5 How to Connect MirrorLink
Before connecting your mobile phone, activate the PhoneLink function on the device and select "Mirror" mode. Then, connect your mobile phone with a data cable and authorize the connection on your phone.
7.6 How to Output Sound Through Car Speakers
- The device's built-in speaker can emit sound. You can turn it off in the system settings if you prefer.
- Transmit sound to the original car radio using the FM transmitting function. For example, select an unoccupied frequency like 86.3MHz on the device, play USB music, then tune your car radio to 86.3MHz. Some models may require an "ON" switch on the FM transmitting display.
- Transmit audio to the original car player via the AUX OUT (3.5MM) interface (available on some models).
8. User Tips
- For optimal sound quality when using FM transmission, always select an unoccupied frequency band to minimize interference.
- To ensure clear communication during Bluetooth calls, verify that the built-in microphone is not obstructed.
- When installing the device using the suction cup mount, clean and dry the mounting surface thoroughly to achieve strong and stable adhesion, especially in varying temperatures.
- Regularly clean up the storage space on your TF card or USB drive to maintain optimal performance and file access speed.
