2. Connecting the Mouse
The Inphic A9 Explorer supports dual-mode wireless connection (2.4G and Bluetooth 5.0). The A9 Explorer V2 also supports a wired connection.

2.1. 2.4G Wireless Connection
- Locate the USB receiver, usually stored in a compartment on the underside of the mouse.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Slide the connection mode switch on the underside of the mouse to the "Wireless 2.4G" position.
- The mouse should automatically connect to your computer.

2.2. Bluetooth 5.0 Connection
- Slide the connection mode switch on the underside of the mouse to the "Bluetooth connection" position.
- On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
- Search for new devices and select "Inphic A9 Explorer" (or similar name) from the list to pair.

2.3. Wired Connection (A9 Explorer V2 only)
For the A9 Explorer V2, you can connect the mouse directly to your computer using the Type-C charging cable. This will also charge the mouse while in use.
Note: For Windows 7 and below operating systems, only the 2.4G wireless receiver connection is supported. Bluetooth connection is not available for these older systems.
Operating Instructions
1. DPI Adjustment
The mouse features a DPI adjust button, typically located near the scroll wheel. Press this button to cycle through different DPI sensitivity levels. The A9 Explorer offers five levels up to 2400 DPI (800/1200/1600/2000/2400 DPI). The A9 Explorer V2 offers up to 12800 DPI.

2. Side Assist Buttons
The mouse is equipped with side buttons, typically for "forward" and "backward" navigation. These three-dimensional buttons are designed for convenient finger operation and to prevent accidental touches.

3. Power Level Display
The mouse features a segmented power display, providing a clear, step-by-step indication of the remaining battery level from full to low power. This allows you to monitor the battery status at any time.

4. RGB Lighting
The mouse incorporates a colorful light guide column with bionic self-breathing RGB lighting, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and user experience.

5. Silent Click Design (A9 Explorer only)
The A9 Explorer model features a silent design for the left and right buttons, generating almost no noise during use. This makes it ideal for quiet environments like libraries or offices, or for use at night.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean your mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the mouse's internal components. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
2. Battery Care
The mouse is equipped with a 500mAh rechargeable battery. To prolong battery life:
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Charge the mouse using the provided Type-C cable and a 5V250mA power source.
- If storing the mouse for an extended period, charge it to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place.
3. Wear-Resistant Pads
The mouse features high wear-resistant pads on its underside. Regularly check these pads for wear and tear. While designed for durability, excessive friction can reduce their lifespan.
Troubleshooting
1. Mouse Not Responding
- Ensure the mouse is charged. Check the power level display.
- Verify the connection mode switch is in the correct position (2.4G or Bluetooth).
- For 2.4G: Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port.
- For Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is paired. Try re-pairing the mouse.
- For A9 Explorer V2 (Wired): Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the computer.
- Restart your computer.
2. Input Delay or Lag
- Check the battery level; low battery can affect performance.
- Ensure there are no obstructions or sources of interference (e.g., other wireless devices) between the mouse and the receiver/device.
- Adjust the DPI settings using the DPI button. Sometimes a very high or very low DPI can feel like lag.
- If using 2.4G, ensure the USB receiver is close to the mouse.
3. Buttons Not Clicking (A9 Explorer V2)
- The A9 Explorer V2 model features audible click buttons. If you expect silent clicks, you might have the A9 Explorer model.
4. Compatibility Issues
- Remember that Windows 7 and below operating systems only support the 2.4G wireless connection. Bluetooth is not compatible with these older systems.

- DPI Sensitivity: If you experience a feeling of delay or unresponsiveness, try adjusting the DPI settings. Sometimes a higher or lower DPI can improve the perceived responsiveness based on your screen resolution and personal preference.
- Connection Stability: For optimal performance, especially in gaming, ensure your 2.4G USB receiver is not obstructed and is as close as possible to the mouse. If using Bluetooth, minimize other Bluetooth devices in the vicinity to reduce potential interference.
- Silent vs. Audible Clicks: Be aware that the A9 Explorer (formerly A9 PRO) features silent click buttons, while the A9 Explorer V2 (formerly A9 PRO MAX) has audible clicks. Choose the model that best suits your preference for sound feedback.
