4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Speaker
- Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port (Figure 3).
- Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
- The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.
For optimal battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use.
4.2 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button (U) for a few seconds until the LED indicator lights up and you hear a power-on sound.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (U) for a few seconds until the LED indicator turns off and you hear a power-off sound.
4.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (the Bluetooth LED indicator will flash).
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Ohayo S6" from the list of devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid, and you will hear a confirmation sound.
The speaker uses Bluetooth 5.3 for faster and more stable connections, with a maximum wireless range of 10-20 meters (33-66 feet).
4.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
To achieve a combined output of 80W and an immersive stereo experience, you can pair two Ohayo S6 speakers together.

- Ensure both Ohayo S6 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker, press the TWS button (often indicated by an infinity symbol or two interlocking circles). The TWS indicator will flash.
- The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. Once connected, the TWS indicator on both speakers will become solid, and you will hear a confirmation sound.
- Now, connect your device to one of the paired speakers via Bluetooth as described in section 4.3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Playback Controls
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (often indicated by a triangle or play/pause symbol).
- Volume Up: Press the '+' button.
- Volume Down: Press the '-' button.
- Next Track: Long press the '+' button.
- Previous Track: Long press the '-' button.
5.2 Bass Boost Function
Press the dedicated 'BASS' button to instantly amplify the low frequencies for a deeper, more powerful bass sound. Press it again to return to the standard sound profile.
5.3 Hands-Free Calling
With the built-in microphone, you can answer calls directly through the speaker when connected via Bluetooth.
- Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
- End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds.
5.4 Multiple Playback Modes
The Ohayo S6 supports various audio input methods:
- Bluetooth Mode: Connect wirelessly to your device (see section 4.3).
- AUX-in Mode: Connect an external audio device using the provided 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX port (Figure 3). The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
- TF Card/SD Card Mode: Insert a TF (MicroSD) card or SD card with MP3/WAV audio files into the card slot (Figure 3). The speaker will automatically switch to card playback mode.
- USB Flash Drive Mode: Insert a USB flash drive with MP3/WAV audio files into the USB port (if available, typically shared with charging port or a dedicated USB-A port). The speaker will automatically switch to USB playback mode.
Use the 'M' (Mode) button to cycle through available input modes if the speaker does not switch automatically.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
The Ohayo S6 is IPX7 waterproof, making it resistant to splashes. To clean, gently wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure all port covers are securely closed before cleaning with water.
6.2 Storage
Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% every few months to maintain battery health.
7. Troubleshooting
- Speaker does not power on:
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the Type-C cable.
- Press and hold the Power button for a longer duration (5-7 seconds). - Cannot pair via Bluetooth:
- Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing Bluetooth LED).
- Make sure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range.
- Forget "Ohayo S6" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
- If TWS is active, disconnect it before attempting to pair a single speaker to a new device. - No sound:
- Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device.
- Ensure the correct input mode is selected (Bluetooth, AUX, TF Card, USB).
- If using AUX, ensure the cable is fully inserted and functional.
- If using TF card or USB, ensure the audio files are in a supported format (MP3, WAV). - Poor sound quality or intermittent connection:
- Move the speaker closer to your Bluetooth device to reduce interference.
- Avoid obstacles between the speaker and your device.
- Ensure the speaker's battery is not critically low. - TWS pairing fails:
- Ensure both speakers are fully charged and not connected to any other Bluetooth devices.
- Place the speakers close to each other during TWS pairing.
