1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the Hisense TV Remote Control, model EN-2A27. This remote is designed as a replacement for various Hisense 4K LED Smart TVs and offers out-of-the-box functionality without the need for programming or setup.   • (Note: AAA batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.)

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) 1.5V AAA batteries (not included).

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment.
  4. Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

3.2 Initial Use

This remote control is designed for out-of-the-box use with compatible Hisense TVs. No programming or pairing is required. Once batteries are installed, it should function immediately with your TV.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Button Functions

4.2 Signal and Response

The remote control utilizes an Infrared (IR) signal for communication with your TV. It offers a strong signal and fast response time, allowing precise control from distances up to 10 meters (33 feet). The response time is typically less than 0.2 seconds.

4.3 Accessing Applications

The remote provides dedicated shortcut buttons for Netflix, Vudu, YouTube, and Amazon, allowing quick access to these services. You can also navigate to other applications and live TV through the main menu using the directional pad and OK button.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean the remote control, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or abrasive materials, as these may damage the remote's surface or internal components.

5.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or it stops functioning. Always replace both AAA batteries at the same time with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.

  • Remote not responding:
    • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
