  • For optimal GPS performance, ensure the GPS antenna is placed in an unobstructed location, typically on the dashboard.
  • Regularly check for software updates to ensure you have the latest features and bug fixes.
  • When using Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto, ensure your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled for a stable connection.
  • If experiencing slow performance, try closing unused applications running in the background.
  • Adjust DSP settings to match your music preference and car's acoustics for the best sound quality.

9. Troubleshooting

9.1. Common Pre-Sales Inquiries

  • Difference between WiFi and 4G version: The WiFi version requires your smartphone to act as a modem for internet connectivity. The 4G version has built-in 4G capability, allowing direct internet access without relying on your phone. For active internet users, the 4G version is recommended to avoid draining phone battery.
  • Rear view camera inclusion: A rear view camera is not included in the standard product accessories. It must be purchased separately.
  • Original/External Microphones: The radio has a built-in microphone. An external microphone can be connected via an RCA cable, but an original microphone adapter is not included.
  • Car model suitability: Verify your car's central console image and model year against the product page details. If unsure, contact customer service.

9.2. Common Post-Sales Inquiries

  • Rear view camera connection issues: Ensure the red cable (②) is connected to the backup light's positive (+), the black cable (①) to GND, and the brown reversing detection cable (④) is connected to the red cable (③) from the video input. Refer to Figure 6.1.
  • No power: Check all power connections, fuses, and ensure the vehicle's ignition is on.
  • No sound: Verify speaker connections, volume levels, and DSP settings. Ensure no audio source is muted.
  • GPS signal loss: Ensure the GPS antenna is properly connected and has a clear view of the sky.
  • Touchscreen unresponsive: Try restarting the device. If the issue persists, contact support.

10. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the surface.
  • Software Updates: Periodically check for and install software updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
  • Temperature: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or excessive humidity.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the cooling fan (if applicable) and ventilation openings are not obstructed to prevent overheating.
