4. Setup and Installation
4.1. Battery Installation
- Ensure the timer is OFF.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
- Open the compartment and insert 2 x AA alkaline batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely to maintain IP55 waterproof rating.
4.2. Connecting to Faucet
- Thread the timer's inlet connector onto your outdoor faucet. The 360° rotatable interface allows for easy positioning.
- Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks. Use the provided threaded sealing tape if necessary.
- Connect your garden hoses to the desired water outlets (1, 2, or 3 depending on your model). Ensure each connection is secure with sealing washers.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Setting Current Time
Upon battery installation, the LCD will display the default time. Use the 'NOW' button to adjust the current time. Use '+' and '-' buttons to change values and 'OK' to confirm.
5.2. Programming Watering Schedules
Each outlet can be programmed independently. Follow these steps for each zone:
- Press the 'SET' button to enter programming mode.
- Select the desired outlet (1, 2, or 3) using the corresponding control button.
- Set Start Time: Use '+' and '-' to adjust the start time (24-hour format). Press 'OK' to confirm.
- Set Watering Duration ('HOW LONG'): Adjust the duration from 1 minute to 5 hours 59 minutes. Press 'OK'.
- Set Watering Frequency ('HOW OFTEN'): Choose between 'Every X hours' (1-23 hours) or 'Every X days' (1-15 days), or select specific days of the week. Press 'OK'.
- Repeat for other outlets if applicable.
- Press 'ESC' to exit programming mode. The timer will now operate in Auto mode.

5.3. Manual Watering
To manually water without affecting your programmed schedule:
- Press the 'MANUAL' button.
- Select the desired outlet(s) using the control buttons.
- Adjust the manual watering duration (1 to 59 minutes) using '+' and '-'.
- Press 'OK' to start manual watering.
- The timer will automatically revert to Auto mode after the manual duration ends.

5.4. Rain Delay Function
To pause watering during rainy periods:
- Press the 'DELAY' button.
- Use '+' and '-' to select the number of days to delay watering (1 to 15 days).
- Press 'OK' to activate the rain delay.
- The timer will resume its programmed schedule automatically after the delay period.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Battery Replacement
The LCD display will show a low battery icon when the batteries need replacement. Replace with 2 new AA alkaline batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation and prevent the low power auto-shutoff feature from activating prematurely.

6.2. Cleaning
Periodically check the filter washer at the water inlet for debris. Clean it as needed to maintain optimal water flow and prevent blockages. Wipe the exterior of the timer with a damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.

8. Troubleshooting
- No Water Flow: Check if the faucet is fully open. Ensure batteries are not low and are installed correctly. Verify that no rain delay is active. Check for blockages in the filter washer or hoses.
- Timer Not Turning On: Check battery installation and replace with fresh batteries if needed.
- Leaks at Connections: Ensure all connections are tightened securely. Use threaded sealing tape on the faucet connection and check that sealing washers are properly seated in hose connections.
- Incorrect Watering Schedule: Re-enter programming mode and verify all settings (start time, duration, frequency) for each zone. Ensure the timer is in Auto mode after programming.
- LCD Display is Blank or Faint: Replace batteries immediately.

- For optimal battery life, use high-quality alkaline batteries.
